Good Morning--starting mine with BBW Pineapple Mango.

For the rest of the day it is Vanilla Cupcake from Yankee. It has been an absolutely perfect spring weather day here--finally--so nice to have the windows open for a change.

Debra--the Melon Margarita is a very nice melon scent--very similar to Yankee's Sweet Melon they used to have--maybe not quite as sweet. It was strong, too, but not overpowering.
Starting my Friday with Mainstays Wild Honeysuckle. Have a great day, everyone.

Just started my two wick Yankee Melon Margarita awhile ago and already I am getting a great scent throw. This is reminiscent of Yankee's former Sweet Melon but not quite as sweet--very nice melon fragrance.

Rivercat--no, my friend at Yankee wasn't sure what was wrong but he was going to send the candle back with a note telling them what happened so I am sure they will be looking into it, especially if others end up with the same problem.
Starting the day with a Mainstays Mulled Cider candle that has been hanging around two thirds burnt since fall. Decided to just finish it and get it out of my way. I love this scent, but not usually at this time of the year.

Susan--I always enjoyed that Lilac Mist scent--haven't had it in ages but I remember it was a good one.
Well, I exchanged my stinky Yankee candle. The manager of the store I go to is a good friend of mine so when I told him my experience nothing would do but that he had to light it and see for himself. Fifteen minutes later he decided he'd better blow it out before the entire store was engulfed. Don't know what the problem was as the wax itself was OK. Must have been a tainted wick or something. I got a Red Velvet instead and my house is smelling really good now!

Thanks, Maggie, Jules and Sweet for your comments. I am hoping to head to the Yankee store today to return my weird smelling candle. Yes, the poor cat was totally innocent, but you sure wouldn't have thought so from the smell. I put on that spring avatar in the hope that spring will get busy and show up around here. Ha!!

For this afternoon it is Yankee Triple Berry--one of the new Cool Pops fragrances for summer.
This one is going back to the store tomorrow. When it is lit it fills the house with a nasty smell that had all three of us who were here going to check the litter box--if you KWIM? None of us had said a word to the others we just all thought the same thing. Once you blow it out, however, or if you stand right over it it smells like a nice berry scent.

I am replacing it with YC Vanilla Cupcake and BBW Strawberry.

Sweet--I feel your pain about the furnace--ours was only 7 years old and it went out completely just when we started the cold weather--about a month ago. The plus side, though, is that for the first time in the 20 years we have lived here we are warm. I never would have thought it would be that way but it is so now I don't feel so bad about having to spend the money for a new one. Hope yours does well and that you enjoy your A/C this summer.
For this evening it is BBW Frosted Cupcake. I am not sure about the Palm Beach Cooler I had on earlier. Guess I'll try it again in the morning and if I don't like it more than I do right now back it will go. At least BBW has a great return policy.

Thanks about the title, everyone. I am glad it is April--I hope it is a nice one for all of us.
Just got back from the mall and just have lighted my BBW Palm Beach Cooler candle I got. I have been wanting to try this one--it is already putting out quite a throw and is nice--kind of a fruity/soft coconut scent so far. I think it will be a good one.

We started our Easter with a thunderstorm and heavy rain but now the sun is out bright and it is a perfect spring morning. Hope all of you will enjoy your day. So far today I have been burning Mainstays Flower Bouquet--wonderful floral scent. After lunch I will try my new Yankee two wick Banana Blueberry candle. On cold sniff it smells just like the old Yankee Canary Island Banana which I loved. We will see if any blueberry notes show up once it is burning.

Katz--those 60 days will fly by I am sure. Sorry about all of your snow--I sympathize--until the end of Feb we were doing great here and it has been snow and yuk every since.
This afternoon it is Yankee Summer Scoop--two wick tumbler. This is a perfect strawberry ice cream scent--I am loving it!!

On this breezy, warm afternoon it is BBW Bahama Fizz--this is a great fruit scent--fresh and crisp--makes me want to make a fresh fruit salad and dig in.
