today's melts were scentsationals cupcake for a cheap brand they work pretty darn good! lol vermont apple pie scentsy cranberry muffin lsc oatmeal raisin bread we also burned yc jelly doughnut just for watching the amazing race. We only burn it for special things.lol s&s ghost munch

Today were burning YC Christmas Cupcake LOL Deepfried apples layered candle YC Banana cream pie Melting Scentsy Sugar Still looking for a job,been looking for the past 6 months. So I've been using up my stash that I have accumilated. Can't wait till I can purchase again and get new wax goodies to enjoy.

I too tried Distinctly pink once and I wasn't overly impressed. When I first started melting tarts and buying. I always thought when I saw others posting about different companies that I too had to try them all out as well. Now that Ive put myself on a wax ban again,2nd one this year(due to job layoff and still not working). That when I can go back to buying I am going to stick to the vendors,that I have tried and have never had an issue with. Whether it be wax,throw,cs etc. Funds are so precious as it is and I would hate to feel like money has been wasted. So for now I use up what I've got. Tired of having to use up tarts fast because they are eating at the cups/or are leaking oils. Currently melting CCCC honey butter CCCC honey zuch bread Scentsy pumpkin marshmallow

Must find some of the fall scents. Where are they in your walmart? I tried looking all over and all I found was the ones that they carry year round.I also noticed that the shelves are might empty looking and they don't refill them back in like they would do with groceries. I was at michaels the other day and noticed that paula deen(sp?) has a line coming out in tarts and warmers. However the wax was super mushy and soft. I think I will still to the walmart ones. This hot afternoon were melting lemon lava cake cftkr luxe vanilla from scentsy pumpkin marshmallow from scentsy And burning vanilla cupcake from gcc hocus pocus from partylite(my thrift store find of 3.99 for a 27.00 candle brand new).

I saw that on the news just a few moments ago. Are any homes threatened? I'm on lockdown and was on lock down for a few months before this one. As soon as I came off it I went nuts I'll tell you. I could have been on lock down for atleast 6 mores months. Now,? I am steering clear of the labor day sales.I would love to be able to buy but I am sure there will be alot more holiday sales coming up too. Im burning CBV log cabin. I noticed that even though this isn't soy the candle seems better now that it sat for a few months. Also burning YC carrot cake and GCC witches brew. Melting pumpkin marshmallow from scentsy again.

Thanks Debra,it doesn't happen that often with goodwill. Normally ours are crazy priced,but .99cents for a medium jar?ok, I'll take it,thank you very much. Normally I see walmart candles for the same price as in the store.lol So someone must not have really noticed the brand.. hehe

Tonight we have a black band pumpkin pie yankee I found at goodwill for a whole .99cents... Smells so good. I forgot how strong they were back in the days. Also got cake batter ice cream by lsc going.

Missed a few days of posting and reading. My daughter turned 12 on 8/23,we went for testing for a new school yesterday and today we are running around again for school stuff. So this morning we just melting a few things. Burning YC pumpkin buttercream-not bad but it doesn't smell like either to me. It just smells like bakery somthing. Melting maple butter by scentsy-another interesting scent. Does'nt smell like a stack of pancakes with butter and syrup. Melting-sugarmint by CD I don't care for summer here in CA. But I love fall. It just seems like fall should last as long as summer does.Cool temps,falling leaves,and all the smells that are associated with it.

we started today off with cajun cornbread,blackerry iced tea and raspberry peach iced tea. Had to use the two teas up as the packaging melted away and oils were coming out of the tarts.

Good Morning, Got on the melters this morning Amish Harvest by lb Pink coconut by ss(some pink sugars smell like plastic to me)I wonder if its her cups or her ps. Mex fried icecream by scentsy(they seem to have changed their wax.Its now softer,harder to get out of the clam and doesnt seem as strong.) Burning voive in french vanilla by CR. I am trying to use up all my votives so that I can buy some new ones for fall.Like Swan Creek.

Afternoon's melts were: LSC vanilla voodoo-very faint throw CCC berry christmas-still strong and good throw from christmas Now were melting pink coconut,pink sugar bean,sweet corn cake all by SS Burning votive of french vanilla by CR and chrismas cookie by yc.

Were melting berry christmas by ccc,vanilla voodoo(which is not throwing great at all) by lsc,pink sugar bean and blackberry zuch bread by ss. Also burning buttercream by bb. I too am awaiting a spotted hog order today. I spoke to a vendor about Haleys not melting the best for several of us. She said that Janet maybe be using a pillar parafin wax that has a much higher melting point to it. And therefore,also the scent throw is not as strong as its capable of putting out.

I don't feel comfortable putting her name here,I would rather when I have time to put a review of a first time vendor board. You would'nt normally walk on to her site to go for tarts unless you were looking at bath and body types of items. I was just simply floored that a vendor would say that. that was my all time favorite way back a few years ago. Missed it when they brought it back out. my fried ice cream is backordered hope it comes soon. I look at it this way another package coming. Were melting beach girl by LB,autumn sunset by scentsy and burning a votive in shortbread cookie by b&bw. Some one mentioned issues with AMS,I too had issues last year and would never ever touch foot on her site again.I plug my ears when I hear others talk about it and how good etc..

We are so happy that baby birdy was able to fly away and hopefully find his family. We've been melting LSC sun and sand and Whams pink madness. Nothing like having to use up tarts right away because their cups are being eaten away from the oils. I talked to a vendor about an order of tarts I got. She told me to let them sit for x amount of days. So I did that and it was still very light. So I emailed the seller again and her response was I have too many frangrances to sit and test each one out in my tarts. I get them from a candle supply company so they should be ok. I think too many vendors are anxious to get started that they forget to test their products.Example melting cups being eaten away by the oils,light to no throwing tarts etc..oye..

Happy to report baby birdy got to fly off to find his momma. He was a cute little thing. I think the kitty must have grabbed him by his eye,as one of his little eyes was closed. But when we released him,he had both opened and was happy as a clam to get out of here. where do you guys get all the cute smilies? I dont remember seeing them all in the box above as choices.
