    I've worn brown mascara, but not by choice. I always wear black mascara, but the makeup artist for my friend's wedding forced me to wear brown. She claimed that my coloring (dark brown hair and eyes, light tan skin with yellow undertones) 'clashed' with black eyeliner and mascara. I disagree, as my natural lashes are black. The brown mascara that she used was LIGHTER than my natural lashes. It looked terrible, but I didn't want to make a scene on my friend's big day, so I waited until I was in my car and then I slapped on my own mascara for the photos and reception.

    So I struck out again. No Simply Living candles at all at the little Walmart across town. None at all. Maybe they never had 'em?

     

    I just put on Kim's 'Key Lime Pie' (new version) and it is pretty good. I like the scent - lime, whipped cream, and cookie crust. It isn't overly strong though... Not sure how long it will last.

    Good morning everyone!

     

    Last night I melted Haley's Pink Fruity Loops and YC Midsummers Night.

     

    This morning I'm melting Kims Strawberry White Cake. Two mornings in a row! I'm almost out - should order more soon.

     

    Later on, I'm running to yet another Walmart, looking for those Simple Living three wick candles.

    Debra - I'm sorry to hear about your cat. It is so hard to watch them wear down, and not be able to make them feel better.

     

    Trep - you don't shop at my Walmart, do you? Someone cleared out their supply of Simple Living 'vanilla cake' three wick candles! I swear they had about two dozen on the shelf last week, and then yesterday, poof! There were none! They still had the other scents, and they had the other sizes of 'vanilla cake', but the one that I wanted was MIA. :( Oh well. I have three other Walmarts within a 15 minute drive of my house, so I'll keep lookin'.

     

     

     

    This morning I'm melting Kim's 'Strawberry White Cake' in the livingroom, and it is super yummy. It smells like fresh strawberries and homemade cake, and it is very true-to-life. It melted quickly, and it is filling the livingroom and kitchen pretty well.

     

    I've got Haley's 'Pink Fruity Loops' going in my room. Cyn, you're right. Her version is much stronger than others that I've tried, and it lasts for days.

     

    I finished the CFTKR 'Lemon Lava Cake' last night. It was very nice, lemon and sweet cake. Not overly buttery.

    Jedda - Hope DS feels better soon! In February DH got me a bouquet of roses which had eucalyptus stems. I took a sniff and it make my stuffy nose feel better. I didn't think it would work but it did.

     

     

    Thanks. He seems to be feeling a bit better now that he has eaten something, but he also has spiked a fever. Oh joy! :wacko: At least the house smells nice. I firmly believe in mint and eucalyptus for stuffy noses. The white grapefruit EO that I'm diffusing is anti-microbial, so I always add it if there is a chance that it isn't just allergies.

    Well, my son is home from school with a sinus "thing" - normal for this time of year, so I'm not overly worried. He has my allergies, and the head issues that come with 'em.

     

    I'm melting BHG "Peppermint Candy" in the livingroom, where he is camped out. I also have some eucalyptus and white grapefruit essential oils diffusing in the oil nebulizer in the hall. [smilie=th_bb41]

     

    I was also melting CFTKR's "Lemon Lava Cake" in the office area, and it smelled lovely. After a while, the strong scents from the other rooms were wafting in here, and the peppermint/eucalyptus/lemon bakery mix was not nice. [smilie=th_puke]

     

    I'll save the Lemon Lava Cake to melt later, when he has gone to bed for the night and I can move the nebulizer into his room. [smilie=thzzz003]

     

    I'm off to stalk my Kim's order on CnS. It should be here today! :upssmiley1: After that I'm planning to pack my Spring Swap box so that it can be mailed tomorrow morning. I hope everyone has a happy and productive day!
