First Impression of Crushed Candy Cane:
I nabbed Crushed Candy Cane the moment I saw it on Bath & Body Works website. In fact, I grabbed pretty much every scent in this “candy” Christmas themed lineup – reviews to come. Aside from Christmas Tree scents, Candy Cane and peppermint scents are my go-to candles during the holidays. I love the crispness of candy cane aromas, the chill they bring to the air, the kind of crispness that makes you shiver. The sugary sweetness you can practically taste in your mouth. All combined makes for one awesome holiday treat.
Crushed Candy Cane is described as:
Crushed peppermint and white sugar crystals.
Sounds about right. Smelling the wax, OMG!! It was literally like cracking open a real candy cane and then putting it up to your nose. It smelled so realistic!!
So far, so good. Now let’s see how this candle performs.
I lit my Crushed Candy Cane candle in my master bedroom and that’s where it stayed till the last drop of wax. I LOVE this scent! My entire bedroom and open bathroom smelled like crisp peppermint candies. The air was cool and it’s just one of those scents I always stop to take a deep breath of. I even shivered a few times because the air was so cool and crisp right around the candle. You may also be wondering how Crushed Candy Cane differs from Twisted Peppermint. I think they’re both very similar and you couldn’t go wrong with either one. I love them both equally.
Strength – I would rate Crushed Candy Cane a 10 out of 10 in any size room. It wasn’t an overwhelming fragrance but you could definitely smell it in every nook and cranny of space where it’s burning. Loved it!
How did my Crush Candy Cane candle burn?
This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues. Clean burning from start to finish.
Closing to my review:
Crushed Candy Cane was a huge hit in my house. I loved, it, my hubby liked it and even my kids commented on it. How can you go wrong with sweet peppermint candies for the holidays? It’s fresh, sugary and a perfect scent when you’re after something different than your standard Christmas tree or cinnamon scent. I’m for sure going back for more before they’re gone for the season.
