I’ve been impressed with the products I’ve tried so far from Book Scents. The Wise Creativity wax melts blew my mind! The scents are so unique and the scent names are incredibly clever…it makes for a lot of fun, even if you’re not a book fan (gasp).
Book Scents offers a sampler, which is a great way to try out the unique scent combinations. Since these are samples, I’m just going to post up some quick reviews on the scents. First up is a Cloud Nine wax melt, which I melted in my 20W hotplate melter. It…was…FABULOUS! It was soothing and slightly sweet. There was a little bit of a soapy quality to this one, too.
The scent on the website is listed as Cloud Nine Love Potion, but I’m fairly sure my Cloud Nine was this particular scent. The scent description reads:
The fresh scent of strawberries, lavender and lemon verbena
Interesting. I’m not sure I got all those individual notes, but the mixture of the three made for a wonderful blend. The longer it melted, the more soothing it became. The scent was mild but it traveled well throughout an open living area. I think this would be a great background fragrance that will relax and not be intrusive. What’s more it was such a pretty blue color that was just gorgeous once melted. I loved this Cloud Nine wax melt sample and wouldn’t hesitate to try it in full-sized candle form.
Have you tried the Cloud Nine wax melt from Book Scents? What are your thoughts?
