What did my candle smell like? 

Sundrenched Mango smelled pretty wonderful! I am such a huge fan of Bath & Body Works tropical scents so anytime I see a fragrance that has “Mango” in it… I usually buy it to review since they’re pretty tough to resist.

Sundrenched Mango is described as:

Succulent sundrenched mango blends into fresh pineapple and salted citrus in an intoxicating island fragrance.

That sounds amazing! This candle is really cheery and bright visually and I loved the color scheme. The vessel was frosted in a dark peach color. The label was abstract in a vibrant blue and peach colors. The wax was an off white. See picture above for visual reference.

First impression when I smelled the wax… sweet mangos with hints of citrus. I wasn’t detecting pineapple on first sniff but hoping that will come out once the candle is burning. I loved it right off the bat though… it smelled sweet and summery. Time to see how it burns….

I lit this candle in a larger bedroom to start out and ended up leaving it there from start to finish. This is definitely a candle you want to burn when you’re in the mood for something fresh and sweet since it’s a perfect blend of both. I smelled sweet and succulent mangos just as the description boasts along tart with tangy citrus. The pineapple did come to life once the candle was burning but to me… this candle was all mango and oranges. It was super bright and fresh. I loved it!!

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 10. It was strong!! Within minutes of lighting the wicks, I could smell the aroma. Within 15 minutes, the fragrance was saturating every part of my bedroom, open bathroom and was even spilling into my great room. It dominated everything I had going in my upper level. LOVED!!!!!

How did my candle burn?

My candle burned perfect. No wick issues – I even had to trim them the first day which I usually never have to do with this brand. My candle burned clean and even from beginning to end. A+

Closing to my review: 

Awesome fragrance and one I’ll be picking up more of before summer ends. If you love fresh and sweet tropical mango scents, this candle has your name written all over it. I loved it!!
