First impression of Sugared Citrus Peel:
Huge citrus lover here and wowza was this fragrance an eye opener. The moment I popped off the lid to smell the wax, a burst of tart grapefruit and lime wafted all around me. Without looking at the scent description, I smelled grapefruit the most with lime coming in a close second.
Let’s see if I’m close.
More of a sorbet fragrance that is sugary and sweet with hints of orange, lemon and lime zest. Drizzle Melts are reminiscent of the wonderfully delicious layered treats that we all remember from years past.
Nope, no grapefruit and that’s okay. No sniffer is ever perfect. 🙂 One element that I agree with as far as the scent description goes, this scent is definitely zesty. Actually, it’s all citrus zest as well as super clean and fresh. I liked it. A lot!
Melting:
Swan Creek’s drizzle melts are pretty large so one cube per melting session works perfect. In my case, I used two cubes (one cube each) in two
melters in my great room. Once melting, it took literally minutes before the scent was moving through my great room and it was fantastic. The entire upper level of my home smelled like a creamy and zesty citrus. Not “pucker up tart” lemon and lime but more bitter zest lemon and lime. It was an eye opener kind of scent and definitely one you want to melt when you need an odor eliminator or just something fresh and clean moving through your home. I really enjoyed this one and will purchase again for sure.
Strength – I would rate this fragrance a 10 out of 10 in any size room. It was nice and strong. Perfect actually!
Citrus lovers, definitely check out Sugared Citrus Peel from Swan Creek. I loved it.
Happy melting!
