First impression:

The label on the package looked like colorful Rock Candy so that’s what I was imagining this scent to smell like. Sweet sugar. Basically, lots and lots of flavored candy.

Here is the scent description I found online for Sugar High:

Tantalizing sugared blueberry, sweet raspberry, and tangy açai gleam with fruity blackberry, smooth whipped cream, and a dash of pure vanilla sugar.

Ooooh yes!! I’m always game for a sweet candy scent and that description sounded amazing!! Smelling the wax, I smelled all the berry flavors the most with lots of sugar. Whipped Cream? Oh, I hope so!!

Time to start melting!

Melting:

I used the entire clamshell pack (3 cubes each) in two electric melters in my great room. Once melting, it took a good 10 minutes before the aroma started traveling through my living space and it smelled exactly as it did on cold sniff… flavored candy – no tartness. My entire great-room smelled like sweet sugar with hints of berry notes. This is a very straightforward scent and one you should totally try if you love the smell of candy with lots of sugar.

Sugar High indeed. What a perfect name for this fragrance. I enjoyed this one and would purchase it again.

Strength – this wasn’t a super strong fragrance for me. In a very large room, I would rate it a 7 out of 10. Normally ScentSational’s melts are 10’s across the board. Of course, melting this scent in smaller rooms will be much stronger.

Sugar High is a limited addition scent so if you’re interested in this one, don’t wait too long. It will likely be gone by summers end.
