First impression of Sugar Blossom:
Any Illume fans here? If yes, did you know they manufacture a line of candles sold exclusively at Target? Yep and let me tell you…they’re pretty darn good, especially for their $10 dollar price tag. My latest acquisition… Sugar Blossom. The reviews on Target say it smells exactly like cotton candy and I could see that to a teeny degree but to me, I think it smelled more like a soft and sweet floral drenched in sugar. The floral was definitely the base to this scent.
I don’t have a scent description for Sugar Blossom to add to this review but just go with the title of this scent. It’s pretty accurate and not exclusive to floral lovers. I personally think everyone would enjoy this one. ?
Okay, time to light my candle and get to testing!
I decided to stay conservative and light this candle in a smaller size room and that’s where it stayed till the very end. Once the wicks were lit, it took a good hour to reach a full melt pool and the aroma… this scent was really wonderful and I’m sticking to my original assessment… a soft and pretty floral smothered in cotton candy. Yep, the cotton candy did come to life once the candle was burning and it really was a unique fragrance. One I’ll definitely be purchasing again. And again… and again, and again. I loved it!!
Strength – this candle was on a light side so if you want to give it a try, stick to a small room to burn it in. I would rate this candle between a 6/7 out of 10 in a really small room. Not super strong but perfect in a small space.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end.
Closing to my review:
I loved Sugar Blossom and highly recommend you smell this candle next time you’re in a Target store. It’s a great scent for everyone and not just
floral lovers.
I’m definitely purchasing this one again. Maybe two… or three. ?
Also want to add, these Signature Soy Candles from Illume are worth checking out at Target. The price is amazing for the size candle and the fragrances are awesome. I’m hooked.
