What did my candle smell like?
Halloween is right around the corner – can you believe it?! I love this time of year and had to get in at least one Halloween review finished in time. I wish I could have squeezed a few more in but I just didn’t have enough time.
When I saw “Spooky Vanilla” at Bath & Body Works, the word “vanilla” alone sold me. It sounded perfect and it looked adorable. The scent… creamy vanilla, sugar and marshmallows…. Yum!! The candle itself… super cute!! The wax was a bright
lime green and the label on the candle showed a glittery haunted house with flying bats and a jack-o-lantern trick-r-treater – see picture above for visual reference.

Thrills, chills and a spine-tingling scent await you in sweet notes of creamy French vanilla, sparkling sugar crystals and fluffy marshmallow.
Um…. YUM!!!! And that’s exactly what the wax smelled like when I popped off the lid. Creamy vanilla and sweet marshmallows. Seriously yummy.
I lit this candle in a large bedroom to test out and it didn’t take very before I started noticing the fragrance… after a few hours, my bedroom was saturated in a sweet and sugary marshmallow scent. Once burning – to me – that’s what this fragrance smelled like… marshmallows with hints of vanilla, not the other way around. I liked it and as far as marshmallow scents go… this was a winner.
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this fragrance a 7. It gave a nice and steady medium throw.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues… clean burning with no soot from beginning to end.
Closing to my review:
This was a really cute candle. The black haunted house added a nice touch against the bright green wax and the fragrance was pretty accurate and in line with the description. What candle lover wouldn’t love getting this in their trick or treat bag? I would!
The scent… pretty yummy! If you love marshmallow scents, you’re going to love this candle. It smelled like sweet marshmallows more than 
anything else and it was sugary sweet. I really enjoyed it.
