What did my Sparkling Party Punch candle smell like?

Sparkling Party Punch was a last minute purchase for me when I was at Walmart a couple of months ago. I’ve since gone back to look for more candles and don’t see this scent anymore and not sure why.

I couldn’t find a scent description for this fragrance, which was a bummer but by the picture on the label, it shows an orange citrus punch type drink. Smelling the wax, I detected a fresh and citrusy scent with an added carbonated vibe. Hard to really tell though until I actually burn the candle.

Time to find out!

I lit this candle in a small bathroom to start out and left it there from beginning to end. For me, these candles really are best to burn in small rooms for maximum scent throw. Once lit, it took a few hours to reach a full melt pool and from then on out… it smelled exactly as it did cold… a sweet fruity aroma with a carbonated fizz to it. Very different and fun.

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 6 in a small room and that’s where I would keep it. Anything larger and the scent would be lost.

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned fine. Very slow burning. It took hours each day to reach a full melt pool. From then on out, it was a clean and even burn from beginning to end.

Closing to my review:

This was a nice and fun citrus scent. It was fresh and effervescent. Not sure I loved it enough to purchase again but that’s a personal choice. I did enjoy it.

I can’t find this fragrance anymore at my local Walmart but it could just be my store. If you were interested in trying it, definitely look at a store near you to see if it’s still around.
