I’ve been eyeing Roseberry Sorbet from Yankee Candle Company for a long time now. I finally picked up a votive during a sale and decided to try it out in my melter.
I was able to use the entire votive in my 20W hotplate melter and it was not long before I knew this one going to be one of my new favorite scents. Ohmygoodness, it was wonderful! It was a little fruity and sweet, but not too sweet. There were some citrus notes that kept it from being too candy-sweet. It kind of reminded me of a fruit punch…a smell of berries and tangy citrus and sugar. It was incredibly strong – filling up my entire open living space and beyond!
The scent description from the Yankee Candle website reads:
Pure refreshment on a sunny day: tangy berry sorbet topped with a sprinkling of candied rose petals.
Now I didn’t smell any rose petals in this, which was a bit disappointing. I am planning on getting this scent in an EasyMelt Cup and seeing if I can get anything different with this scent. I absolutely loved it, though, and it’s become a new one of my Yankee Candle favorites…maybe even enough to end up buying a large candle jar!
Have you tried Roseberry Sorbet from Yankee Candle? What are your thoughts?
