First Impression of Pumpkin Pie from Pure Integrity:
I can’t let Fall go by without doing a review of a pumpkin pie scented candle. I’m sure you know just about every candle company out there sells a pumpkin pie scent for Fall, but are they all equal? I think not! Some are weak, some are strong, some are too heavy on the pumpkin, some are too heavy on the nutmeg or other spices…they’re all slightly different if you start sniffing. Let me tell you though… if you’ve been looking for a good Pumpkin Pie scented candle, your search is over. I have found the end-all, be-all of Pumpkin Pie candles and I guarantee once you try it, you’ll feel the same way I do. And the winner is…drumroll please…Pure Integrity.
Pure Integrity is my all-time favorite candle company. I hope you’re not sick of hearing about them because I still have a lot of their scents to try. If you haven’t heard me tooting my horn about this candle company yet, I’ll debrief you…Their candles are made from 100% soy wax, burn oh-so clean with no soot and the scents are EXTREMELY authentic and strong.
Now that you’re filled in, let’s get back to business. Back in the summer, Pure Integrity sent me 6 scented jar candles to try. One of them was their Pumpkin Pie. I made myself wait to burn this secnt untill Fall was officially here. Once I finally burned it…OH MY GOODNESS!!! You can find my thoughts on this scent below, but let’s do the “what did my candle look like” thing first.
What did my Pumpkin Pie scented candles look like?
My candle had pumpkin pie colored wax and came in one of Pure Integrity’s 10 oz. frosted jars with wooden lids. I know the picture to the left is really light, but the candle all the way to the right is their 10 oz. Pumpkin Pie. As usual, there are no labels on the jars, which I like. My candle was also double-wicked, which I just love. It looks so pretty when it’s lit. The color of the wax along with the double flames look really cozy for Fall.
How did my Pumpkin Pie candle smell?
Attention my candle loving fans – this scent is unbelievable! I have never burned a Pumpkin Pie candle so authentic before in my life. I feel like I would do this candle a disservice 
just by saying, yeah, it smells like pumpkin pie. So let me say this to get my point across…This candle IS pumpkin pie! Don’t eat it though! 🙂 Each day that I’ve been burning this candle, it smells like the best pumpkin pie that was ever made in the history of mankind has been baking in my oven.
It’s amazing to me how right on my Pumpkin Pie scented candle is. The crust is there, the pumpkin is there, the spices are there…it’s all there and blended so well. Nothing stands out too much like you can get with some pumpkin pie candles. For example, I just recently found a Pumpkin Pie candle that was too heavy on the nutmeg. I guarantee if you burn this candle for about an hour, your room will smell like you just baked the most delicious, mouth-watering pumpkin pie ever.
The scent throw on this candle is truly amazing to me. It’s been filling my entire downstairs level with it’s comforting scent. Of course, the room I’ve been burning it in has the strongest smell. Speaking of comforting, this candle makes me and my home feel so warm and cozy. The weather is starting to turn cold here on the East Coast. When I burn this candle lately and step outside for a minute and then come back in, the scent greets me with a big warming bear hug. It has such a consoling, homemade depth to it that’s hard to put into words… you just have to smell it to understand.
My overall opinion of my Pumpkin Pie candle…
In my opinion, this candle from Pure Integrity is the best candle scent I’ve found for Fall so far this year. It’s hands down the best Pumpkin Pie candle I’ve ever burned. There’s no comparing it to other
brands people…. any other Pumpkin Pie candle that I sniff now in the stores smells inferior to this candle. As long as Pure Integrity offers it, I will burn this scent every Fall till I’m old and grey and can’t type long enough to place an online order. If that happens, I guess I’ll just have to call my order in. 🙂
What a perfect scented candle to wow your family and friends with on Thanksgiving. Trust me, this candle is so good or as Martha would say, “It’s a good thing. If you’re having Thanksgiving at your house this year, burn it for your guests.” If you’re going to someone else’s house, bring it as a gift and ask if you can burn it while you’re all gathered together. After burning the candle for about 30 minutes to an hour, you’ll all be mesmerized by this scent and craving Pumpkin Pie. Great job Pure Integrity!

i’ve never tried pure integrity’s candles but now i really want to! there are always an overwhelming amount of pumpkin candles this time of year (at least, it’s overwhelming to me.) and it’s awesome to read this review AND see it confirmed by every one else who commented that this really is one of the best — if not thee best. also i love that it doesn’t have a label on the candle jar!
I love Pure Integrity! Pumpkin PIe is a classic in my house, everyone loves it.
I would love to win a Pumpkin Pie candle! I have tried so many and this is my favorite. One candle fills my entire apartment and even lingers when I blow the candle out. I still want to try their melts but haven’t yet.
I love this fragrance. You can smell the pumpkin filling with cinnamon and nutmeg. You want to eat it.
The best Pumpkin Pie, smells like the real deal. Another great bakery scent they carry is Oatmeal Cookie.
I have tried Pure Integrity Pumpkin Pie. This candle has a strong scent throw and burns clean. Their service is outstanding also. I am pruchasing from them again.
I found Pure integrity’s Pumpkin pie candle to be very strong. It filled my whole house with a spicy sweet bakery fragrance. I loved it and my husband also loved it. Will definitely purchase more of these.
