First Impression of Pumpkin Patch from DW Home:

I don’t care what store I walk into, I always search for candles. Who knows, you never know what you’ll find and I got lucky one trip to Joann’s craft store. They had a whole display of these yummy bakery scented mason jars and Pumpkin Patch was in the bunch. I couldn’t resist this one… the wax smelled like a sweet and spicy bakery pumpkin. Warm and cozy as can be.

I’ve never heard of DW Home but when I looked at the label on the bottom of the candle (with a magnifying glass) – I could read DW Home as the manufacturer. I went to their site but didn’t see these mason jars so I’m guessing they were manufactured exclusively for Joann’s. – – It’s a cute candle. The vessel was a bakery mason jar with a rustic label and metal screw top lid. The wax was a burnt orange with a cream color layer at the very top. Very nicely done.

Time to find out how this candle performs!

I didn’t have a scent description to add to this review but one really wasn’t needed. This candle smelled like a bakery pumpkin spice with warm bread notes in the background. Yum yum yum!!

I lit this candle is a small bathroom to start out and ended up leaving there from start to finish. Once lit, it took less than 30 minutes to reach a full melt pool and from then on out, the most scrumptious bakery pumpkin aroma filled the room and then some. I smelled warm bread notes, sweet pumpkin blended with the perfect touch of spices. I absolutely LOVED it!!

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 6/7 in a medium room. 10 in a small room. Very nice and dense scent throw. I could have easily moved this candle to a slightly larger room but decided to keep it where it was for maximum enjoyment.

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned like a dream. No wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end.

Closing to my review:

I absolutely loved this candle and plan on getting more next time I’m at a Joann’s store, if they still have them. Who would have thought? I went in for paper and walked away with 2 bag full of candles instead. HA!! I’m just glad I took the chance because I’m loving this series of candles.
