What did my candle smell like?
Pomegranate Lemonade was another fragrance I purchased without reading the scent description first. I am a huge lemonade lover so it didn’t take much convincing me to purchase this one. First impression once I smelled the wax… tart and fresh pink lemonade. Mouthwatering!
Here is the scent description from the bottom of the candle:
A fragrance inspired by an ice-cold glass of fresh-squeezed lemon juice, pomegranate nectar and a touch of sugar.
YUM!!!! I could smell it all… the lemon, the pomegranate with loads of sugar – it was tart, sweet, refreshing and perfect! I was also hoping and crossing my fingers this candle would have no wick issues. I wanted to enjoy every possible minute of it.
Time to find out how this candle performs.
I lit this candle in my master bedroom and literally within minutes, the fragrance was traveling all throughout my bedroom. After a good 30 minutes, the aroma saturated every nook and cranny – my bedroom, adjoining open bathroom and even started spilling into the rest of the house. The scent – just as it smelled cold… a fresh and tart pink lemonade. It was perfect!!
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 9 in a large room. 10 and above in medium or smaller rooms. Loved the strength of this candle.
How did my candle burn?
I’m happy to report, I had no wick issues with this candle. It burned perfect from start to finish. Clean and even. YEAH!!!
Closing to my review:
This was a perfect experience and I loved this candle from start to finish. Every bit of it. If you love pink lemonade scents and on the super tangy and fresh side… Pomegranate Lemonade is a must try.
Better hurry though… this is a seasonal scent so it’s only available in spring and summer.
