Introduction to my review of a Pink Sangria scented candle from Slatkin & Co.:
I am obsessed with candles from Bath & Body Works right now and am determined to review every candle I can get my hands on. Problem is, I’m having a hard time keeping up since Bath & Bod Works is coming out with a slew of new scents every other month. I think it’s great… what candle lover doesn’t love a huge variety of scents to choose from? The not so great part – if you like a scent, you better stock up because you never know when it’ll be gone. They’re rotating them so fast – – out with the old, in with the new. So my advice, if you find a scent you love, buy a few (or more) while they’re available.Pink Sangria seems to be a staple scent I keep seeing and is a Slatkin & Co. candle sold exclusively at Bath and Body Works. Every time I’m in the store and smell this candle, I love it and want one. It’s tart, fresh and super summery and let me tell you, I am soooooooooo ready for summer!
What did my Pink Sangria candle look like?
This candle is 14.5 ounces in a beautiful wide glass jar with three wicks. The lid is a shiny flat chrome. The wax color on my candles was a light pink. I have no idea what the picture is on the label of this candle. It’s a flower maybe? Beats me.
What did my Pink Sangria candle smell like?
Love this scent!!! It’s super summery, sweet and tart. Such a welcome change from all the spicy scents I’ve been burning this winter.Here is the scent description from Bath & Body Works site:
“Cheers! Enjoy this pretty and intoxicating mix of zesty mandarin, crisp apple, watery pear and sugared berries.”
I don’t really smell what’s in the scent description… maybe the mandarin and berries but that be it. To me, this candle smells like super sugary and freshly made pink lemonade, a refreshing drink you would order on a hot summer day lounging by a pool. It’s really tart and man is this candle strong. On a scale of 1 to 10, this is a 10. Easy. The fragrance scents my entire huge master bedroom and then some. Every time I walked into the room, I would take big deep breaths and smile. This was a hit with the entire family too. Husband and kiddo approved. Love love love!!
How did my Pink Sangria burn?
Perfect. Absolutely zero issued with burn performance. Whatever wick issues they had in the past are totally gone. This candle burned like a dream.

I am so impressed with this round of candles from Bath & Body
Works, I’m like a parrot. I can’t get enough of them. If you’re after a nice summery STRONG scent… give Pink Sangria a try. It’s wonderful. Oh, and be sure to wait and catch a good sale at Bath and Body Works when you’re ready to take the plunge… they offer 2 for $22 sales frequently and that makes your candle purchases a little less guilt ridden.
