Introduction to my review:
This is my final review of Bath & Body Works “Summer Sips” candles. There are actually two more scents out there but I was never able to track them down. I’m kind of sad it’s over… this was such a fun series of candles. I really enjoyed them all and I’m hoping they bring this entire collection back next year. I would buy every fragrance again in a heartbeat. They are so refreshing and fun.
Next up… Nectarine Green Tea. This fragrance smelled really unique. It was herbally and sweet. I’m glad I saved this one for last… I had a feeling I was going to love it!
This candle was their standard 14.5oz large 3 wick candle. The wax color was a really pretty wasabi green… loved the color!! The label on the front of the candle shows a white glass with 2 slices of nectarines at the bottom of the glass… there is also a straw peeking out of the glass. The scent name, “Nectarine Green Tea” in a fun and modern font was embossed in black at the top of the glass. On the label towards the bottom says:
“Half dozen white nectarines, Japanese green tea, 100% contentment”
There is also a green and blue striped label that covers the entire chrome lid… in the center is a cut in half nectarine with a banner that reads “Summer Sips” across the center. See picture for a better visual reference.
What did my Nectarine Green Tea candle smell like?
First sniff, the wax smelled like a sweet and fruity iced tea. I can totally picture this as a cool and refreshing drink. A perfect balance of tea and nectarines. Here is the scent description from the bottom of the label:
“Now and zen – Take a break with this soothing blend of Japanese green tea and ripe juicy nectarines.”
I could clearly smell the sweet nectarines… the tea part, kind of light… as stated in the description above, I found the overall scent really soothing.
As with all Bath & Body Works candles, I burned this candle in a big bedroom… it started out great but then a few hours into burning, the scent really tapered down to a light aroma. This candle was not as strong as I was hoping it would be. That kind of disappointed me but the overall scent was still really nice. It smelled exactly as the description… sweet and juicy nectarines blended with green tea. I think next time I purchase this candle, I’ll burn it in a smaller room to get a better scent throw.
How did my Nectarine Green Tea candle burn?
My candle burned perfect. No wick issues, no wasted wax. Very clean burn. A+.
Closing to my review:
I liked and enjoyed this candle but out of the entire “Summer Sips” series… it definitely wasn’t my favorite of the bunch. Maybe if it were stronger, it would be a different story. Would I buy this candle again? Yes, I think so… it was a really nice and calming scent… I loved the sweet hints of nectarines the best… I just wish it would have been stronger.
If you happen to be by a Bath & Body Works store… go smell this candle and see for yourself. If you love iced tea type fragrances, you’ll probably like it. Hurry though… it will probably be retiring any day now.
Happy candle hunting!

Had this candle a few years back and my kids used it to light sparklers and it turned black and ruined it and wasn’t able to find this again. Absolutely loved the scent!
I liked this scent but then I’m a huge fan of all Bath and body works candles. I loved all their drink themed candles. I don’t think there was one I didn’t like.
