What did my Mango Shores candle smell like?

Let’s start off with the scent description for Mango Shores:

Discover beautiful new tropical shores with the scent of fresh mango, creamy coconut and Caribbean Island blossoms.

I’ve never been one to resist one of Bath & Body Works mango scents and this candle was one I seriously couldn’t pass up. First impression, I smelled juicy and sweet mango blended with creamy coconut. YUM!!!!!

Time to find out how it performs.

I lit this candle in my master bedroom and it took quite a while for the fragrance to start traveling throughout the room – which was weird. These candles are usually strong right off the bat. Once I could smell the aroma throughout my bedroom, it was luscious…..I smelled sweet and sugary mangos with creamy coconut so the scent stayed true from start to finish. I just wish the fragrance would have been stronger.

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 5 in a large room. 7 and above in a medium to smaller rooms. This wasn’t a strong candle. It did scent my bedroom but pretty lightly and never traveled outside the room.

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned pretty good. No wick issues. Clean burning from start to finish.

Closing to my review:

This was a nice and sweet tropical fragrance but the strength did disappoint me a little bit. With so many other great mango and tropical scents Bath & Body Works carries, I’ll probably pass on this one should they bring it back. It was nice but not exciting if that makes sense.

On the positive… this was a pretty candle… the vessel had a ribbed texture from top to bottom and was a deep orange color. It was a very different style I’m used to seeing and I liked it. See picture at the top of this review for visual reference.
