What did my candle smell like?

I am such a huge fan of citrus fragrances and I think Bluewick creates some of the best on the market. Each scent is so vibrant and fresh and my new favorite… Madison. In my opinion… a near perfect citrus.

Summer Madison is described as:

“Blending the fresh citrus notes of grapefruit with the earthy, bright aroma of lemongrass, this candle will enliven your home with its sparkling scent.”

Oh my goodness, the moment I popped off the lid to smell the wax, fresh and zesty grapefruit and lemongrass hit my nose. It was strong, clean and so zesty!! I loved it the moment I smelled it.

I decided to try burning this candle in a large bedroom to start out – just to see how it performed and I ended up leaving it there from beginning to end. Within 15 minutes of lighting the wick, the fragrance was traveling all throughout my bedroom and even spilled outside into the hallway. The fragrance… fresh lemongrass and grapefruit – in that order. It was vibrant, clean and so refreshing. I loved it so much, I didn’t want the candle to end.

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d rate this candle an 8 in a large room. A 10 in a medium or small room. It gave a great scent throw. LOVED!!

How did my candle burn?

My candle burned perfect. Zero issues. Clean burn from start to finish.

Closing to my review:

I loved this candle and will definitely purchase it again. If you love fresh and clean citrus scents… this is a must try, especially if you love fresh lemongrass fragrances.
