First impression of Lavender Lemonade:

Let me start this review off by saying Signature Soy candles are found exclusively at Target and are manufactured by Illume, a brand I happen to love. Illume must be having fun with this line because they’re so unlike any fragrance they offer on their own website. The scents on their site tend to be more on the exotic side whereas the candles at Target are fun, bright, seasonal and reasonably priced so if you’re on a budget, definitely check out this brand.

Now onto the candle! The moment I saw Lavender Lemonade, I had to smell it. The moment I did, I purchased two right on the spot. Yes – two, because cold sniff smelled AMAZING!!!! I could not find a scent description for this scent on Target’s website (which bummed me out) but I guess none is really needed. The name of the scent alone and the picture on the label pretty much says it all… a bright and tart lemonade with hints of fresh lavender. Sounds weird but trust me, it’s not. It smelled perfect.

Lavender Lemonade Loved! Now let’s see how this candle performs!

I decided to start this candle in a medium size room and that’s where it stayed till the last drop of wax. Once the wicks were lit, it took a good hour to reach a full melt pool and the aroma… a tart (very tart) and refreshing lemonade aroma filled my guest bedroom with fragrance. The lavender I’m sad to report was barely noticeable. It was there but I think the lemon was too overpowering and it didn’t stand a chance. All my nose could smell was a strong and bright lemon with a hint of lavender and very little sugar. This scent was all lemon and even though the lavender was light, I still enjoyed the heck out of it.

Strength – I would rate this fragrance an 8 out of 10 in a medium size room. 10 in a small room. If you want to go large, try burning two candles at once.

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned great. No wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end.

Closing to my review:

Lemon lovers… I highly recommend this one. The aroma was pure lemon nirvana in a candle. Tart, tangy, clean and super fresh!! My only wish would be adding a little more lavender to the mix. That would have been fun to smell. Loved!
