 Introduction to My Gold Canyon Candle Review…Choosing a candle for my first review wasn’t easy… There really are so many great candles out there. Being asked by Carolyn to pick my favorite spring scent was even harder but after much thought, I decided to choose my Ginger Lime 16oz. jar candle from Gold Canyon Candle Co. This scent is part of Gold Canyon’s Signature Series. This scent is sooooooo strong and so citrusy and a perfect spring/summer scent. | |||
 Before I go on, I’d like to give you a brief synopsis of what types of candles and scents I prefer so you can get to know me a bit. My latest craze are Gold Canyon’s 16oz jars. I love that they have a wide mouth and get nice big and even scent pools. I love strong candles that fill my home with their wonderful aromas! My favorite scents are the fresh and fruity kind. I first chose Ginger Lime because I’m a citrus freak and can’t seem to get enough of it. I’ve found that florals are too strong for me so I tend to stick to sweet, tart scents. With that said, onto my review of Gold Canyon Candle and their Ginger Lime scent. | |||
A Little About Gold Canyon Candle Co.Gold Canyon offers many different jar candle sizes. The smallest is 5oz up to 26oz. My favorite size is the 16oz, right in between the two. Aside from the 5oz, all their candles are double wicked. This is a nice feature if you like all the wax consumed which I definitely do. I’ve been burning Gold Canyon Candles for years and have never had one tunnel yet. Another nice bonus Gold Canyon offers are their safety wicks. About 1/4″ from the bottom, the wick automatically dies out… a great feature for those forgetful folk who can’t remember they left a candle burning somewhere. Gold Canyon also offers tea lights and votives for those who prefer something smaller. I have to give this company a “humbs up” on scent consistency. Their scent descriptions have been pretty right on which is nice for those making a purchase decision based on a worded description alone. | |||
How Do Candles From Gold Canyon Candle Co. Look?The Signature Series jar candles are plain apothecary style glass jars with a label on the face of each candles. Gold Canyon’s Ginger Lime candles are sage green in color. The wax is very smooth and creamy. | |||
 My Scent Review of Ginger Lime…When you open the lid, the scent absolutely jumps out at you. The lime really stands out more than anything else and to me, it smells very fresh and tart. I couldn’t really smell the ginger, just a nice and steady lime scent. For you fruity lovers, this scent is a delicious must have. The scent throw is strong and travels pretty far, lingering even when not lit. So far I’ve burned this candle an entire day and found myself having to pulse how long I burn it because of the scent strength. That surprised me because I have a huge living area and normally have to burn two candles at a time to fill the room with scent. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give the scent strength of my Ginger Lime candle at least a 9. | |||

My Final Thoughts of My Ginger Lime Candle from Gold Canyon…Loved this fragrance and it will definitely be a staple scent in my house. | |||
