Frosty Air Bath & Body Works Candle Review
By Christina Rylan
Brand: Bath & Body Works
Type: 14.5oz large 3 wick candle
Fragrance: Frosty Air
Scent Strength: Strong
First impression of Frosty Air:
Frosty Air was such a pretty candle with its frost blue ribbed glass and creamy white wax. No label adorned this candle which made it that much more appealing. The label itself was an insert that sat on top of the wax showing a winter wonderland scene of glittery and snow covered pine trees set against a blanket of snow. Very pretty and nicely done.
Here is the scent description for Frosty Air:
Fresh wintery air, crisp white cotton, eucalyptus, icy vanilla.
First impression… I smelled icy vanilla, eucalyptus and white cotton the most. It was both sweet, fresh and different. I was looking forward to smelling the fragrance once the wicks were lit.
Time to find out!
I lit this candle in my master bedroom and am happy to report, it performed amazing in that size room. Once the wicks were lit, it took minutes before the scent was traveling all throughout my bedroom. The aroma… what an interesting scent this was. I smelled everything in the scent description but I also smelled something masculine in the mix. It reminded me of a subtle and fresh cologne combined with hints of eucalyptus and creamy vanilla. It was interesting but still really nice.
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 7 in a large room. 10 in a medium or smaller rooms. This wasn’t a super strong aroma but did give a nice and steady medium scent throw.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues. Clean and even burn from start to finish.
Closing to my review:
Frosty Air was a nice and fresh masculine scent that I wasn’t expecting at all. I imagined a fresh kind of wintery vanilla mint which would have been nice but this was even better. The base of the scent smelled like a fresh cologne with hints of fresh mint. I’m partial to masculine scents so that could be the reason I enjoyed it so much. What it a winter scent? I don’t think so. I found it refreshing and a perfect scent to burn any time of the year. Unfortunately, it’s seasonal so you may only find this candle during fall and winter. When and if you do… go smell one. You may walk away with one. 🙂
Happy candle hunting!
