First Impressions of My French Lavender Candle 
If you’ve read any of my past reviews, then you know I’m not a fan of floral scents. Nor do I review them very often. Lavender however is a different story. I don’t know what it is about this flower that appeals to me. Maybe it’s how herbal and fresh it smells? I don’t know. It’s just one of the few florals I actually gravitate towards and enjoy smelling throughout my home. When I saw French Lavender at a Bath & Body Works store recently, I didn’t even hesitate purchasing one to review. Once I smelled it… Mmmmm!!!! The freshest lavender wafted all around my nose. So soothing and magical.

A classic fragrance for the home that never goes out of style. The clean scent of fine French Lavender heightened by a hint of vanilla.
Very true, this scent never goes out of style and I’ve got to say after smelling the wax, it smelled pretty true and authentic… like fresh herbal lavender and I was impressed. Vanilla?…. hard to tell considering how potent the lavender was. If it was there, it was very subtle. Will know for sure once the candle is burning – which is going to be right now!
I had a feeling this candle would be a room filler so in my master bedroom it went. Once the wicks were lit, it took minutes to start noticing the scent and oh my goodness….. fresh lavender filled every nook and cranny of my bedroom, open bathroom and was even spilling outside the room. In fact, this fragrance pretty much dominated the entire upper level of my home.
How Did My Candle Perform?
I lit this candle in my master bedroom and within 10 minutes of lighting the wicks, the fragrance of fresh lavender was drifting all throughout my bedroom. An hour later, the aroma was traveling all throughout the upper level of my home and was even drifting down my staircase. This fragrance was MEGA strong!!
The aroma…. the freshest lavender I’ve smelled in a long time – just as the description boasts. Fresh and clean herbal lavender… soothing and absolutely magical. I loved it!! Did I ever smell vanilla? No. If it was there, the lavender was way too strong and completely drowned it out. This scent was 100% herbal lavender. Loved it!!
Strength
This candle was a room filler… mega strong!! I said above the scent traveled down my staircase but what I failed to mention was that the aroma traveled into the hallways and family room downstairs as well. I don’t think I’ve ever had a candle burning in the completely opposite side and level of my house do that. The best part… even though the scent was strong, it didn’t bother me or give me a headache.
How Did My Candle Burn?
This candle burned great. No wick issues. (YEAH!!) Clean burning from start to finish.
Closing To My French Lavender Candle Review
I absolutely LOVED French Lavender from Bath & Body Works and highly recommend it to
all you lavender lovers out there. This fragrance smelled very authentic to me and boy was it strong.
I found this candle at a Bath & Body Works store so that would be the place to find one. It is listed online right now but who knows how long that will last. They are constantly rotating their scents on their website.
Lavender lovers, seriously… if you see French Lavender. Purchase one. You won’t be sorry.
