Sheryl: Did that trade in Barbie have a white fish-net like cover up trimmed in orange over a orange 2 piece bathing suit? Was she twist and turn waist, bendable legs with either long blonde, or brown hair? My Mom traded in one of my "older" dolls for this newer model. The one she traded in was probably worth some money-but that was a cheap way to get a new doll back then.

Hey everyone. I am looking out my window at the winter wonderland and the beautiful birds at our feeders this morning. Heart, I do believe that Barbie would melt "something pink" of course.!!! I have alot of dolls that are from the early 80's still in their boxes . They are in every closet in my home. I also have an antique cabinet in my living room that I have the vintage dolls displayed. I have the original #1 Barbie, as well as my own stash from when I was a kid. I think she is a #4 ponytail, and my Francie and Midge. Alot of the vintage ones have original outfits. I have bubblecuts, swirls, ponytails, (Truly Scrumptus (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) Skipper, Casey, Julia, Brad and lots more. I'll try to post a picture here someday. I 'll need help doing this, as I haven't mastered how to do all of that yet. Sorry for the babble!!! This morning's melts are RGirl-pink pepperberry. This one is really good. Jules, I tried a bayleaf and pepper from Busy Bee that was awesome. I wonder if it is similar to pink bayberry. Also, my Cottage Hill-bamboo cabin is still going stron from yesterday. Luv this scent. Right now, thanks to my DH I am staying home . I worked at an elementary school cafeteria for 10 years until my back and neck got the best of me. Lots of heavy lifting and very hard fast-paced work. Make sure your kids are nice to the "Lunch ladies' because they do work so hard each and every day. I really loved and still miss being around the kids every day. My oldest son will graduate from Purdue Univ. in Computer Graphics Technology this spring, and my youngest son is working at McDonalds. He is thinking about going back to school next fall at IV tech. He is interested in pursuing a Business degree and playing guitar in a band. So that's what I do at this point. Also, not too hard to figure out, I love tarts, and candles. and also have a Barbie collection.

Sillysmom: When I was a little girl, I knew that is was "cold as snot" when the boogers or snot froze in your nose very fast!! This happened alot walking out our long lane to catch the school bus. Maybe this is what darling1 means... I have only felt this two mornings here in Indy this season.

Stardust; We have about the same on the Southside. My Cottage Hill Creations order just came. Bless my mail guy's heart he brought it to my door even with the 12" of snow in my driveway. I guess he knew I needed some new smellies. I have started CHC-Shortbread cookies andBamboo Cabin in my LR(luv this one). Stay safe everyone.

We have a winter wonderland this morning. I measured 11 inches. I need to go outside and feed my "feral:" kitties. Bigred-Everyone "enables" to please on the forum... Nene's-Egyptian Musk, and rose girls-Celtic Moon. I plan to stay in, drink alot of and call my Mom. Everyone be safe if out and about.

Trep: We are getting a snow/sleet mix right now. We have around 3 inches on the ground and it is suppose to do this into tomorrow. Jason; I'm glad you are o.k. leave it to public transportation to get you there, late, and sort of in one piece. This evening's melts are Rosegirls- Celtic Moon and Nene's Egyptian Musk. Oh,Jules: Glad you are o.k.. (What the H*** were they thinking)? Big Red: I am definitely one of the minority in this forum that goes for the woodsy, spicy, earthy and some fresh-herbal scents. Aria mentioned Blue Sugar-it is a great smell. I'm really into Evening Eclipse scents--definitely on the darker side. Their customer service needs improvement. Everyday Whims does have some great scents. Even the coffee with Santa is not girly at all. It's very nice and a BIG favorite here. Also, some more from EW are Fairy Forest, Nag Champa, Cinn. Sandalwood, Naughty Toddy. Also the Crackling Birch from Carol(CFTKR) is great, along with Cedar and Spice(one of my all time favorites), Euca. spearmint, Euca cedar. I'm sure I will think of some more. These are some that I really like.

Jules, I hope your little one feels better soon. I have two boys, so I understand the "Poor me" thing. I still hear from my younger son how the older one is better, smarter, blah, blah, blah. This morning I'm burning a Illuminations votive-Autumn in Vermont, EW-Blue sugar in my kitchen, and LoL -American Dream. This scent has surprised me, not alot of scent cold, but a really nice mix of light vanilla, earthiness, lavender and clary sage. I really do like this scent. I hope everyone has a good day. I'm not sure how much snow we are suppose to get here. This could be our big winter snow for the year.

OK. , A tart review. The Ten Digits Almond, I just regretfully dumped. The longer the tart melted the less it smelled like almond. I detected some funky floral stuff going on with it. I guess I was expecting a true almond scent. I replaced it with LOL-American Dreams. I can tell already this one will be a keeper.

This afternoon it's Ten Digit Creations-Almond. I'll LYK how strong this one is-just started melting it. I am also melting EE- Harvest Moon. This scent I don't care for-I have really like all the other scents I have tried from Evening Eclipse. A little to green or something for my taste. I hope everyone is having a nice day. It is cold and snowing a little here in Indy. I'm ready for spring and my flowers and perennials.

Happy Saturday Morning everyone!!! I am melting the other half of my LOL Purple Haze tart. Illumination votive -Wonderful Cookie and BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar candle. I miss Stardust girl too, Jules. Heidi: I seem to spill wax at least once a week. I'm kinda klutzy. Coffee is my #1 spilling mess around here. I plan to do some laundry drink some coffee, [smilie=th_oregonian_mornincoffee] sweep, and change out my melters today. I sure do wish I could hire Debra's son to come and clean my bathrooms. I guess this will be on my list to do also. Everyone have a lovely day.

Happy Friday!! This morning I'm melting Ten Digit Creations-Bamboo and Basil. So far, I'm really liking this one. It is more like a spa scent than a floral and very calming. I am also burning Illuminations votive-Meditation. It is a lighter throw, but very nice and fresh with patchouli notes and frankincense . Also, I am melting Carol's-Blue Sugar for Patsy. She has to go back into the hospital. I hope everyone has a nice day.

Jules: I think you would like the Tuscan Patchouli. iIm not really picking up the normal in your face patchouli smell. It is softer and has some other notes, but it is very nice. I wish i could pick out the notes, but I really can't. There isn't alot on the site about the notes , but says it is masculine, and I'm just not really agreeing with that description either.

This late afternoon I'm trying out my new goodies- Ten Digits Creations- Tuscan patchouli and Illuminations voitive- meditation.
