Good Morning! Maggie-I’m impressed. You sound like you are very handy. Amy-Glad you are still enjoying your summery scents. I am still melting them but not ever day. Going to get my hair colored and cut soon. Nails this afternoon. My sister and I are boxing up my dad’s house for the VVA tonight. They take a lot of household items. We have a dumpster for whatever nobody else wants. The closing is next week. It’s very sad. My parents lived in that house for 55 years and we grew up there. Melting today in all melters is VCS Heat Miser Man. This is Cinnamon Buttercream Frosting Noel Gooey Marshmallows. Enjoy your day all!

Hello All! Amy-I have missed your posts!! It is good to do preventative maintenance on your house. You don’t want a problem that could have been avoided. I give you credit for trying your hand at blending. I know I would be terrible at it. Glad you had success and that you enjoyed it. Melted for 24 hours straight and it could have gone more. This was a new to me vendor called Blended with Love. The scent was Ocean Pearls. This was Palo Santo, Vanilla Lace and Golden Sands. Just beautiful. Tonight it’s L3 Pink Sugar. Pink Chiffon, Vanilla Clean Cotton. This was a sample I received and it’s pretty so far. Good Night All. I hope you are all enjoying your holiday weekend.

Good Morning! Yes Maggie I agree. I have some CFTKR that’s about 10 years old and it’s still throwing. My VCS has been holding up as well. What were the scent notes of that 3 Ring Circus? Today it’s VRC Bourbon and Oud in the main area and an L3 sample Lord of Misrule Sugar Cookie Royale Don’t Cross Streams in the bedroom. I’m loving all these scents today. Enjoy your day !

This wax just gets stronger the older it is. In the bedroom it’s The Bunny Sisters Campfire Tales. This is suede and tabac, Marshmallow fireside, wood and earth. Have a nice day!

Good Morning! It’s a beautiful day! We had rain the last couple of days but now the sun is out and it’s just gorgeous. Melted VCS More Cowbell. This was Bourbon Chai. Very strong, great scent and it went for over 24 hours. Melt for today is VCS Celebrity Jeopardy. This is Fizzy Pop with Black Currant Purée and Cotton Candy. I rarely melt fizzy scents but I can see now why they are popular. This is super strong. I have it going in the bedroom and can smell it all the way in the main area. Amy-That scent sounds gorgeous! Thanks for introducing me to L3. Maggie-I love all the different vendors you melt from. That Sweet French Herbs sounds beautiful. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

Good Morning! Maggie-I love that VRC Tobacco Barn! My allergies have been terrible this summer. Didn’t realize that they were bad this year. Melting HM Vanilla Cedar Wood in the bedroom. Excellent! In the main area it’s SB Resting Beach Face. It’s Pink Sugar, Fresh Ozone, Clean Cotton, Sheer Musk, Amber, Seaside Breeze, Ocean Sands and Beach Grass. Have a great day!

September’s Soothing Scents

Hello Everybody!I I ordered that Southside Serpents because it sounded good when Maggie was melting it. It didn’t disappoint! I loved it. Just that note of Bakery made it great! The other SGA scent I love with the Bakery is Woodstock Boogie. I definitely recommend them both. I know Maggie loves Woodstock Boogie also but not sure if you have tried it Amy. I need to get a bag of that OPT scent I think Amy sent me a sample and it was so good. I need to order a bag of that under its new name. Today it SGA Gidget’s Beach Party. Maggie reminded me that I had that the other day and it was really good. I am happy to report it still smells beautiful. I have this in one of my infamous chunk bags that I am trying to get through. It is Toasted Coconut, Lemon Vanilla Orchid with ozone, salty sea spray, seaweed, driftwood and water lily. I am also melting The Bunny Sisters Camp Crystal Lake. This is Marshmallow Fireside and Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. I don’t like the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie note It was a sample but the scent is not for me. I’m liking this vendor more and more. Good Morning!! Thank you Maggie and Susan regarding the wedding. It’s sad but unfortunately there’s not a thing we can do about it. This virus has put a hold on many happy occasions. Maggie - my daughter and her fiancé are getting a puppy too. They are picking up a Chocolate Lab in 2 weeks. I’m glad you are enjoying your new puppy. That Patchouli Coast sounds wonderful. I forgot about Gidget’s Beach Party. Need to dig that one out. Susan-You are melting up a storm. Great scents!! I had a very busy last few days. We took a ride to RI and CT. Visited the mansions in Newport and went to the casino in CT. Nice little trip. We also visited my SIL’s dad. Today’s melts are Swanky Lily and SGA Pink Frosted Animal Cookies. Good Morning! You all are melting such great sounding scents! Maggie-That Ice Blue Shave sounds wonderful!! When I get through a lot of my wax I will definitely be ordering from there. What I have melted I loved! Susan-I will have to look into Root Candles. Today I am melting SMT Cookie Bread, SSA, and Toasted Marshmallow. Smells delicious. This is a good blend for today. It’s rainy and gloomy. Fall scents are my favorite so I will enjoy these every chance I get. Enjoy the day all!!

Good Morning! Amy- I am glad you have this week at home. I have enjoyed Rainbow Melts as well so far. Today I’m trying to melt again some older SGA wax. It’s SSA, Coconut Creme, Daisy’s Sweet Mango. Hi All! It’s been a busy couple of days here. Birthday weekend here. Today is my youngest daughter’s 30th birthday and we had a very low key celebration yesterday. Yesterday was my husband’s birthday. Today is my first time melting in 2 days. It’s L3 Coconut Cream Frappuccino Pink Frosted Cake. Delicious. In the bedroom is VCS Chippendale’s Audition. Good Morning! Sorry to hear about the damage Maggie! My neighbors have trees in their pools too. Sorry about your gazebos. That was a worse storm than I think was expected. We are without power also. Not sure when it will be back. We bought a generator after Sandy also. Grateful we did. The power situation is still being assessed here so who knows when the power will be back. The beach house is without power also. They say maybe tomorrow for that. Melting CFTKR Honey Patchouli which was a sample from Carol. Stay safe!

Good Morning! I too am hoping the Tropical Storm isn’t too bad. Since it’s supposed to be worse at the Jersey Shore we came back to NY for a few days and will go back Thursday afternoon. I am melting SGA Pink Chiffon in the Kitchen today and not strong at all. This is a major bummer. So many chunk bags with light scent. I will be changing it out shortly. As I said before these have been hit or miss. So disappointed. SGA unfortunately doesn’t seem to have a long shelf life. Some vendors get stronger with age. These do not. Yes Amy and Maggie. I am also with you on the wax hiatus. It’s time to get this stash down. Even though I have melted a lot in this quarantine I have accumulated so much more in wax. Stay safe all!!

Hi All! Melting today VRC Vanilla Rose Tea. Excellent! This is Vanilla Bean Noel, Rose Jam and Tea and Cakes. In the bedroom is a sample from Swanky called Josette. I couldn’t find the scent notes on this but it smells good.
