    Jedda- Pumpkin Pecan Waffles sounds [smilie=cloud_9] ...I wonder if I have that in my BH stash...gotta check!

     

     

     

     

    I hope you find some! This has turned out to be a favorite of mine, and I really wasn't expecting to like it at all. I don't ever order scents with nutty notes - almond, pecan pie, etc. They all smell off to me. I received the Pumpkin Pecan Waffles as a freebie, and I really liked it! The pecan note is mellow and doesn't take over, and it doesn't smell fake. I get a lot of pumpkin, some spices, and a warm brown sugar bakery note. Very nice!

     

    ETA: I'm warming some VBN oil from last winter. Or, should I say that I'm trying to warm some VBN? I think it has gone bad... It smells a little weird in the bottle, but I had hoped that it would be okay once I put it in the warmer. It isn't. It has a really strong VBN scent for a few minutes, and then it smells like Vaseline. Gross! I didn't know that this would happen. Same oil and warmer as last year, but totally nasty results. My other BBW oils are fine. I keep them all together in a cool dark cupboard, and none of the others are having issues. What happened to my dear VBN? [smilie=th_smiley-crying]

    Oh my. I've loved most of the scents that I've tried from Janet. The only ones that I didn't adore were a few freebies that she sent, and that's just because I don't like florals. I gave them to a friend, and she loved them.

     

    A few worth mentioning are:

    Apple Orchard

    Brown Sugar Pound Cake

    Americana

    Pink Frooty Loops

    Battle of the Sexes

    Country Splendor

    Vanilla Insanity

     

    These are scents that I buy by the bagful, and try to keep on hand.

    I'm melting BH&G's Simmering Apple Cider and it's [smilie=th_cc15] Reminds me of Apple Jack & Peel a little bit.

     

     

    I love that one too! I'm going to have to stock up on it - this is one STRONG scent!

     

    I just put on "Cinnamon Buns" from Melissa's Specialty Soap and Primitive Wicks (what a mouthful!) I smell a lot of cinnamon and some sweet vanilla. Good in my book! Plus, her scent shots are buy-one-get-one-free! [smilie=th_smiley_emoticons_hurr

[smilie=yes] Is BH&G the same company as Scentsationals? On the inside of the clamshell it says 'for customer service, please email customerservice at scentsationals dot com.

     

     

     

    Yup, I finally got the pumpkin note, too. I also smelled some citrus. Very nice. And you're right, the BH&G melts are made by Scentsationals!

    I'm starting the day with fresh wax in the melters. I've got Haley's 'Pink Insanity' in the bedroom, CFTKR 'Lemon Lava Cake' in the kitchen, and OMG 'Emerald Pear' in the living room.

     

    My son chose 'Pink Incense' from Pink Flower Scents for the melter in his room, but I'm not sure if we're going to melt it... I've only got a few left of this scent, and it's a favorite of mine. Since I don't know when Vera is going to re-open, I may have to save this one fo myself. I'm a mean Momma like that. ;)

    Currently melting:

    Kitchen - Scooped-out wax from a jar candle that I bought at Michael's craft store, scent is called "Autumn Harvest". The scent is apples, oranges, and pipe tobacco, and it smells lovely in the jar. It won't burn properly, and tunnels like mad. Nothing has helped - foil, illumalids, etc. I scooped the wax out and melted it in my 24w warmer, and it has no throw. I'm about to throw it out. I have hate in my heart for this candle. Seriously. [smilie=th_pullhair]

     

    Living room - Mystery vendor, scent is called "Apple Spice Cake". Pretty nice scent, heavy on the cinnamon. No real bakery notes, just cinnamon and apples. Fairly strong throw initially, but it is on its second day. I'm about to swap it out for CFTKR "Cinna-Bons".

     

    Bedroom - Kim's Tart Candles, "Lemon Sugar". This one is also on its second day, and I'm getting a "Froot Loop" scent out of it. The last time that I melted it I smelled more of a lemon Pledge scent. Weird.

    I just put on Kim's 'Lemon Sugar' in my room, so far so good.

     

    Scentsationals 'Oatmeal Cookie' is still kicking strong in the living room. I'm really surprised that I enjoy it so much. In the package it smelled really weak- just a bit of cinnamon. Once it melted, I was in LOVE! Strong buttery vanilla cookie, cinnamon, and cloves - delicious!

    I cleaned out all of the melter bowls this afternoon. I also threw out a half melted shot of CBV's 'Gorillas in the Mist.' Super strong, but absolutely NOT for me. It smelled nothing like its description- all I got was a nauseating 'new car' aroma. Yucko.

     

    Once they were all clean, I refilled as follows:

    Bedroom - Haley's 'Pink Frooty Loops', an all-time favorite.

    Hall & bathroom - BH&G 'Sweet Melon'

    Living room - Scentsationals 'Oatmeal Cookie', WOW this is strong! Love it!

    Kitchen - CFTKR 'Lady Apple'

    DS room - OMG 'French Vanilla'

     

    House smells fabulous!

    Kim's "Snickerdoodle" is finally dying down. I melted it all night and the scent filled the whole house. It isn't heavy on the cinnamon, but it is a nice brown sugar cookie scent.

     

    I am about to put on LSC "Strawberry Cheesecake". A favorite of mine, but I was trying to save the last few of these cups that are in my stash. Unfortunately, the cups are getting squishy, so I'm going to have to melt them soon. I hate that her cups are doing this. The FO isn't leaking, so I don't know what is causing the cups to get soft.

    I just put on 'Snickerdoodle' from Kim's Tart Candles. It smells fantastic!

     

    It's pouring rain right now, so I'm sorting through my tart bins. Tidying them up, and figuring out what scent families I'm running low on. Can you believe that I only have THREE pumpkin blend tarts left?! Need more soon. On the other hand, I have about thirty pine/tree/spruce scents! These things are good to know before I place my fall & winter tart orders.

    Michele, glad everything went ok for you all.

     

    Funnybone, those are two of my favorites! I bet your house smells great!

     

    I'm melting my last YC 'Pumpkin Buttercream' tart. I still don't know if I love this one. Sometimes it smells a little bit 'off', but then every now and then I get a whiff that smells really delicious.
