First impression of Cuban Vanilla from Pier 1:

The moment I smelled Cuban Vanilla at Pier 1, I fell in love. Mmm!! I love vanilla scents and oh my goodness was this a romantic vanilla.

This fragrance was not a sweet bakery or a classic vanilla. Nope. It was sensual and romantic with the perfect touch of sweetness and cream to pull you in a bit deeper. It’s a scent I imagine burning on a romantic date night or even wearing as s bath and body product. It’s that kind of vanilla.

That’s exactly what I smelled, vanilla and sensuous amber. So beautiful and sexy. That’s what I keep going back to… romantic, sensuous, sexy, and alluring. A beautiful fragrance that wasn’t too perfume’y. Can you tell how much I like it so far?

Cuban Vanilla Time to find out how this candle performs!

Because this candle had 3 wicks, I decided to light it in my master bedroom to see how it would perform and I’m happy to say… it did pretty well. Once the wicks were lit, it took roughly 30 minutes to reach a full melt pool and from then on out…. Sweet and romantic vanilla wafted all throughout my bedroom. I loved it and if you’re a vanilla lover like me, I think you’ll love it too. Just imagine a sweet and creamy vanilla with the perfect touch of exotic amber. This truly was a lovely scent.

Strength – this candle gave a decent scent throw… not to strong but not too light. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle between a 6/7 in a large room. 8 in a medium room and probably a 10 in a small room. This is definitely a candle you’ll want to burn in a medium to smaller room to really maximize and enjoy the aroma.

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end.

Closing to my review:

What a lovely fragrance Cuban Vanilla turned out to be. I knew the moment I smelled it I was going to love it and I was right, I did. Vanilla lovers… this is the kind of vanilla you’ll want burning close by so you can savor every second of the aroma. I loved it and plan on getting a few more.
