What did my candle smell like?

The moment I smelled Creme Brulee, I didn’t even hesitate to purchase a few… it smelled INCREDIBLE!!!! It was a scent so sweet and realistic, you’ll want to grab a spoon and start eating the wax.

I couldn’t find a scent description for this fragrance but one really wasn’t necessary….. Imagine the sweetest vanilla pudding you’ve ever tasted or smelled. Seriously, it smelled that yummy!! Sweet, creamy, rich and heavy vanilla nirvana!! Nothing fake or synthetic about it. Just heavy, pure, sweet and creamy vanilla. I cannot even begin to tell you how impressed I was with this scent.

I lit this candle in a small bathroom to start out and ended up leaving the candle there from start to finish. I loved this scent so much, I wanted the maximum scent throw possible and definitely got it in a small room. Once lit, it didn’t take long to start noticing the scent and after a good 30 minutes, total room saturation. I could have easily moved this candle to a slightly bigger room and it would have been okay. The scent… beyond yummy and the best part – it stayed true once burning… a sweet and rich vanilla that truly did smell like crème brulee. Delicious!!

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 6. Not super strong but for a mass produced candle, I thought it gave a pretty decent scent throw. Loved it!!

How did my candle burn?

My candle burned perfect. No issues. Clean burn, no wasted wax.

Closing to my review: 

This candle surprised the heck out of me. I had close to zero expectations when I started burning it… mass produced and only 4 bucks… how good could it be? Well, it was good! More than good and I think the next time I’m at a Big Lots, I’m going to buy this fragrance in a larger jar to see if those give a stronger scent throw. I definitely plan on purchasing more.

Vanilla lovers… you will absolutely FREAK over this fragrance. It’s one of THE best crème brulee scents I’ve ever smelled….. ever! If you’re by a Big Lots… go smell one. I bet you’ll walk away with a few candles including this one yourself.
