First impression of Cranberry Pomegranate:

What a cute candle this was – it was dark plum and white in a vintage sort of pattern. The scent – Cranberry Pomegranate. See picture above for visual reference. First impression…. I smelled a sweet and tart berry type fragrance and it was pretty strong all by itself. Very promising.

Here is the scent description I pulled off the box the candle came in:

Splashes of cranberries and acai berries and blended with juicy pomegranate to gently infuse your home with the freshness of nature.

Nice description and based off cold sniff, this scent description is dead on accurate. I smelled all kinds of ripe berries and it was very bright and refreshing.

Time to see how this candle performs.

Cranberry Pomegranate I decided to start this candle in a small bathroom to test out and ended up leaving it there from beginning to end. Once lit, it took about 10 minutes to start noticing the fragrance and once I did…. nice!! The scent throw was decent in a small room filling it completely with scent. Bonus, the fragrance even spilled outside the room into the outer hallway! I could smell it all… the acai, cranberries and sweet pomegranate all blended perfectly creating a tart and refreshing aroma. I loved it.

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 7 in a very small room. 5 or less in a medium room. Not sure I would attempt anything larger than that.

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned pretty good. The first day, it did leave a thick layer of wax around the edges since it only had one wick and it couldn’t keep up with such a large surface but nothing a wick dipper couldn’t take care of. At the end of the day, I pushed all the leftover wax into the melt pool so no wax was wasted. From then on, it burned great. Wick maintenance was minimal… one trim a day did the job.

Closing to my review:

This was an enjoyable candle and I’m now looking forward to trying the other two fragrances that came in this gift set. The fragrance wasn’t super strong but gave a decent throw in a small room and one I enjoyed from start to finish. Would I purchase this gift set again? Based off this experience alone, yes. For sure. The candles are darling.
