Introduction to my Home scented candle review from Circle E Candles:
I can’t believe this is my first official review on Circle E Candles. This company is HUGE! I know we’ve reviewed various Circle E scents for comparison reviews but not a stand alone… it’s about time we did and I’m finally glad I’m getting to it. 🙂
I have to tell you… I was so tickled pink when (out of the blue) I received an email from Circle E introducing themselves – letting me know they found Candlefind, loved the site and wanted to send us some candles. Each and every time these big companies acknowledge Candlefind, I get excited and am so incredibly flattered. It just validates everything we do here and I love it. So did I say yes? Um, heck yeah!! I’ve been dying to work on some reviews of this company and this was the 
perfect opportunity.
Circle E’s website is very well designed and laid out. Have I mentioned I love simple and easy to navigate sites? I do and Circle E is very easy to browse. All the info is right there…. easy to read and search for without wading through endless muck. You can find their candles by size, fragrance, scent categories and what’s new. Each scent has it’s own page with all the candles and sizes offered along with prices and scent descriptions right there. Super convenient.
I counted 70 scents offered in a variety of styles so I had a nice selection to choose from. Decisions, decisions…. I ended up asking for 2 fragrances and to my surprise received 6. SWEEEEET!!!!! Even grander… my candles were all 28 ounces which is pretty big… I was beyond ecstatic! Out of the six… I decided to review the scent “Home” first. This candle was actually not on my list to review but once I smelled it, I knew it was the first candle I wanted to try. It smelled fresh and manly! A perfect scent for spring burning!
What does Home scented candle from Circle E look like?
My candle is huge! Their 28oz square signature jar. Nice big size!! The wax color was a slate blue with 2 perfectly centered wicks. The flat glass lid is embossed with the Circle E logo. There is also an embossed round Circle E label on the face of the candle with the scent name in the center of the label in a big bold font. Very clean and simple look.
What did my Circle E Home candle smell like?
I always like to read scent descriptions before starting a review… it’s fun to see if I smell all the elements listed in the description. Just opening the lid and smelling this candle held lots of promise for me. Fresh, manly and strong! I couldn’t wait to light this candle up!Here is the scent description from Circle E’s site:
“The fresh clean fragrance of tropical bamboo infused with natural spices and musk.”
Tropical Bamboo? Hmmm, I have no idea what that smells like so I did a Google search… other than pictures, there were no real scent descriptions that I could find. So, going on faith with this one, I’m assuming it’s fresh and maybe added some “green” elements to the overall scent. I don’t know… to me this scent smelled like masculine soap. It was fresh, clean and super strong and a gorgeous scent to burn in my big master bedroom! It literally saturated the room and bathroom with fragrance as well as travel all through the upper level of my home. There were points I had to put this candle out throughout the day because it was a little too much for me. That’s a good thing if you love strong scented candles. Strength wise on a scale of 1 to 10, this scent rates a 10. Easy.
As far as spices in the description… I wasn’t really smelling that. To me, this scent was fresh with lots of musk. Would also like to add this candle was highly “husband” approved. Mine generally never comments on the scents I burn unless he really likes them or absolutely hates it. The first day I had this candle burning, he commented immediately that he loved it and let me know throughout the week I had it burning he was enjoying it. Score! So if you’ve been searching for a great “man cave” candle…. this would be a good one.
How did my 28oz Circle E candle burn?
For the size, this candle burned pretty good. Wax was left in the far corners where the scent pool didn’t quite reach but I find that’s generally common with large (especially square) candles. If that bugs you, you can use a wick dipper to push that excess wax into the wax pool so it all gets used up. I actually like to do that so nothing is wasted. I’m a “use every ounce of wax” kinda girl for sure.
Overall opinion of Home scented candle from Circle E:
My “Home” scented candle was awesome!! This was a perfect candle 
to kick off spring at my house and a great scent to burn if you’re after a fresh and vibrant “masculine” type scent. Just be prepared for a strong scent throw. This candle blew me away.And if you like burning large candles, the 28oz size I tried seemed to burn forever and the price $21.50 for 28 ounces? Super good deal!!I’m looking forward to reviewing all my other scented candles from Circle E. Should have my next one ready by mid summer.

I bought the Circle E. Candle; Home scented, candle based on Christina’s review and some other recommendations I found Online. I value Christina’s opinion at CandleFind.com and have been very happy with most of the candles she recommends. So I’m only a few hours into my Initial burn on this Circle E. Candle, and so far so good. The candle seems to be burning nicely with a full wax pool and no tunneling. The heavy and thick square glass container the candle comes in is different than I’m used to seeing and beautiful. I did expect this candle to be stronger though based on the reviews I Read. I want to be able to smell a strong scent coming from my candles. For whatever reason I find myself straining to detect more than a low-grade scent from this Home scented, Circle E. Candle. I do have the candle placed in my living room which is a more significant room and given harder to fill with Scent. It’s entirely possible that this may be one of those candles that are best used in a smaller room which would disappoint me. I will report back after I give this candle some additional time. I. Keeping my fingers crossed that the scent becomes more prevalent.

Great review. What size did you get? Expectations with a candle can be a hard thing. You do want it to scent a large space but sometimes, one single candle simply can’t. That’s why I tend to move mind around in different size rooms till I get the right fit. 🙂
