First Impression of Cake Pop:

Being the hopeless bakery lover that I am, I see a bakery scent and I’m immediately compelled to smell it, I can’t help myself. When I saw this candle, I HAD to smell this one. Cake Pop! Need I say more? As soon as I popped the lid off, I literally closed my eyes and breathed the scent in…. it smelled so sweet and delicious. I was blown away once again at how realistic these fragrances are.

Treat your senses to the irresistible aroma of freshly-baked vanilla chiffon cake pops dipped in sugary frosting.

That description is 100% accurate. The wax smelled so realistic, you’ll truly think you’re smelling a freshly baked cake with frosting. Seriously!! I actually thought this candle smelled better than the real deal and it constantly amazes me how these candle companies pull it off. I could detect it all… warm cake and super sugary frosting. Mmmmm!!!

Because this candle was pretty wide with three wicks, I decided to burn it in my master bedroom which is a pretty big room. Happily, I was able to leave it there from beginning to end and let me tell you…. It was PERFECT!!! Once lit, it took a good 30 minutes to really start noticing the scent and once I did, pure bakery heaven! Sweet and warm cake with loads of frosting. Nothing fake or synthetic – just pure bakery goodness.

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 7 in a large room. It filled my larger bedroom and adjoining open bathroom with a steady medium scent throw. So, medium to smaller rooms will likely rate a 10.

How did my candle burn?

My candle burned perfect. No issues. Clean and even burn with no wasted wax.

Closing to my review:

I loved Cake Pop and am definitely purchasing another one next time I’m at a Kohl’s department store. Bakery lovers… if you love cake scents, you will love this candle. You can’t get any more realistic than this. LOVED!!
