What did my candle smell like?
The moment I smelled this candle, it was instant love. I liked it so much, I debated saving it for when I had a cold but I couldn’t resist how fresh it smelled and had to light it up first. It smelled AMAZING!! Here is the scent description for Breathe:
“A scent inspired by the stunningly clean air relished during yearly getaways to Volcano Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. An essence captured by cool eucalyptus essential oil blended with crisp peppermint.
Healing, it aids in relieving symptoms of cold and flu, alleviates mental exhaustion, energizes, and stimulates.”
I love all the properties of aromatherapy… it fascinates me that a fragrance can invoke a change within you just from the mere aroma. I can totally see how eucalyptus and peppermint could calm you as well as energize. It’s so peppy and refreshing but also calming and soothing at the same time.
I lit my candle in a small bathroom to start out and ended up moving it to a larger room. I remember having a conversation with Janelle, owner of Éclat that her candles are not meant to be room fillers by nature of using pure essential oils. I kept that in mind when starting this candle but I have to tell you… this fragrance is anything but light. It was strong and quite powerful and I loved every moment of it!! So much so, I didn’t want the candle to end.
This entire fragrance was pure and fresh! The nature of it could only but energize you… it wakes you up. At the same time, I loved how soothing it was. I found myself lingering in the room I had it burning in just to absorb and appreciate the aroma as much as I could. I loved it!!!!!! I’ve burned my fair share of eucalyptus and peppermint candles and I can say without a doubt this was the best fragrance I’ve ever tried. It was so pure and crisp, strong and soothing… I loved it from beginning to end. HIGHLY recommend this candle if you love eucalyptus and mint fragrances.
How did my candle burn?
My candle burned PERFECT!! Zero issues. Clean burn, no wasted wax. A+.
Closing to my review:
What an incredible experience this was for me and I’m really looking forward to trying my next candle from this company. I have always been a fan of pure aromatherapy candles but this fragrance took it to a whole new level for me and it has absolutely set the bar for the next Eucalyptus/Peppermint candle I try.
“Breathe” was the perfect name for this fragrance because all you want to do is breathe this scent in. It was so pure and uplifting. Can you tell how much I loved it? I LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!!!!!
This was the first candle I’ve tried from this company but based off this, I’m really excited to try more and highly recommend them… especially if you’re searching for pure candles made with essential oils. True aromatherapy is hard to come by and this was the real deal. For sure.
