First impression of Be Rejuvenated, Citrus Burst:

Yeah, I can’t even walk into a Kohl’s Department store without going straight to the candle section. My last trip proved productive with a few “candle finds” in the Sonoma Lifestyle section. One candle I couldn’t resist… Be Rejuvenated, also known as Citrus Burst. It smelled amazing – fresh citrus galore.

Here is the scent description for this candle:

Uplifting notes of ripe tarocco orange, sugared clementine, and zesty tangerine combined with juicy mandarin splashed over earthy hints of warm patchouli, soft amber and white woods.

WOW! That’s a lot going on in that scent description and all of it sounds wonderful! First impression for me… my nose detected a medley of citrus scents on a bed a creamy vanilla. Maybe I could smell amber and white woods but it was hard to tell. The true test will be once the candle was lit. And with that said, let’s find out!!

I decided to be daring and light this candle in my master bedroom – it ended up being a perfect choice. Ten minutes later, I came back to the most wonderful aroma of a soothing citrus that filled my bedroom with fragrance. I could smell it all, sweet orange, zesty tangerines and I swear grapefruit even though that’s not listed in the description. It was very zesty. In the mix of it all were soothing components that had to be the amber and white woods. I didn’t smell any patchouli and I was perfectly okay with that. The overall scent was awesome!! An aromatherapy type citrus that had me smiling from ear to ear every time I walked into my bedroom.

Highly recommend this one!

Strength – I would rate this candle an 8 out of 10 in a really large room. 10 in medium to smaller rooms. Great scent throw!

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end.

Closing to my review:

I loved Be Rejuvenated from Sonoma Lifestyle and will for sure be purchasing several more the next time I’m at Kohl’s. I am a huge fan of citrus scents and this candle really delivered for me. It was a fresh citrus that wasn’t too sweet but still very soothing. It’ll be a hard one to beat for a mass-produced candle. Check it out next time you’re at Kohl’s.
