Introduction to my Market Peach scented candle review from Bath & Body Works:

Aaaah, warm weather is officially here and with sunshine and warm days brings sweet fruity and fresh scents to brighten up my home. I have always loved the sweeter summer kissed fragrances to spicy winter so I’m devouring every summery candle I can get my hands right now. Not a hard task for this Market Peach scented candle from Bath & Body Works review candle lover, I assure you. 🙂

My new “go to” place for candles these days is Bath & Body Works… seriously… this years candles are awesome and I can’t get enough of them. Burn performances are perfect, strong scents with a slew of fragrances to choose from. Add all their incredible sales they’re always running and I’m a lost cause.

Speaking of lost causes… Bath & Body Works ran another 2 for $22 sale and of course, I couldn’t resist the temptation. So, I placed an order for more… this time around, lots and lots of summer scents which they have a nice variety of. Market Peach was next up for review from their “Fresh Picked” collection. I’m trying to get all these reviewed before they’re gone… Bath & Body Works seems to change out their scents every few months and it’s hard keeping up. I’m giving it my all though. 🙂

What does my Market Peach candle look like?

My candles in their large 14.5oz straight glass candle. The wax color is a light peach color with three perfectly placed wicks in the center of the candle. The label has a picture of a large peach in front of a checkered background with Market Peach printed above it. Bath & Body Works logo at the bottom of the label.

What did my Market Peach candle smell like?

I’m usually not a fan of Peach scents in any form. The ones I’ve tried are either too sweet like sugared candy or fake. Take your pick. Here is the scent description from Bath & Body Works website:

“Fresh from the stand, luscious peaches strike a juicy note in a mouthwatering blend of creamy vanilla, savory citrus and ripe raspberry.”

Smelling this candle cold was mouthwatering! I could definitely make out more than just plain peaches and it did not smell fake or synthetic at all. I liked it from the moment I took the lid off to take my first whiff. It smelled exactly like the Market Peach scented candle from Bath & Body Works review description reads… sweet juicy peaches with teeny hints of raspberries. Yum!!!

Burning this candle produced pretty much the same result…. I could detect peaches but also hints of vanilla and raspberries which added some tartness to the overall scent… not so much citrus which was fine… what I was smelling was perfect. Yummy sweet peaches with vanilla cream and raspberries. The whole family loved this one… I received comments from my husband as well as my two boys. Very unusual.

This candle gives a decent throw as well… I started noticing the scent within maybe 10 minutes of lighting it. It’s not super strong but decent- on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d say this was a 6-7. This candles is definitely worthy of being called “fresh picked.” – – Bath & Body Works once again rocked this one. Definitely recommend if you love peachy/sweet scents.

Perfect! Clean burn, no wasted wax. I did have to keep all three wicks trimmed the first day I had this candle burning. After that, they tapered off to even flames till the end. No maintenance needed after the first day.

Overall opinion of my Market Peach candle from Bath & Body Works:

I really enjoyed this candle and will definitely be ordering it again. I’m so glad I finally found a peach scent worthy of Market Peach scented candle from Bath & Body Works review burning in my home. I think maybe the added elements of vanilla and raspberries helped a lot and took away some of the sticky sweetness I find to be the norm in other peachy type scents.So head on down to Bath & Body Works next time you’re by a store and smell this candle as well as all their new “fresh picked” summer scents. I bet you’ll find a candle or two magically pop into your basket. They’re awesome and if you happen to catch a 2 for $22 sale… you can purchase a few guilt free.
