Bath & Body Works has become my “go to” site to buy scented candles these days. LOVING their candles!! I don’t really care for how fast they seasonally change their scents… as in… if you find a scent you love – buy it ASAP and plenty of it or it’ll be gone for who knows how long – or if it’ll even come back. I’ve had scents I’ve loved that didn’t. So if you really love a scent and want more of it, don’t procrastinate buying more… chances are it will be gone. Been there, done that!
Bath & Body Works Fall scents this year are pretty dang awesome… lots of pumpkin scents and apples and sweaters and leaves… luscious scents that proclaim Fall with a capital F. I bought pretty much one of everything to review. This review centering around Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. This is a new fall treat Bath & Body Works just launched this year and it took awhile to even get it because they were always selling out. After burning this delicious mouthwatering scent… I can see why. This scent is soooooooooo yummy!!!!
What did my Pumpkin Pecan Waffle candle smell like?
I can describe this scent with three capital letters – O – M – G!!! Yeah, it’s THAT good!! The moment I popped open the lid to smell it for the first time… it was a moan fest of love, appreciative groans, Mmmm’s and gleeful hand rubbing. We’re talking total scented bakery nirvana.

“A scrumptious blend of pumpkin pecan waffles, pure maple syrup and a touch of brown sugar” 
I am totally blown away by this candle. When I first smelled it cold, it had all the elements I love in a bakery scent… it literally had it all – – the bread/cake’y bakery (waffles), the sugary sweet maple syrup, the nutty pecans with the perfect hints of brown sugar. Every ingredient was there in all its glorious deliciousness. I really didn’t smell pumpkin and I actually didn’t mind or care… this scent was perfect “as is.” It was very sweet and nutty… warm and comforting… I wanted to eat this scent with a glass of milk. Seriously! And as it burned, I couldn’t figure out what I was smelling more of… one minute it was the bakery waffles – the next, it was this super sweet incredible maple syrup with perfect hints of pecans… it was just PERFECT!!
Scent throw… awesome! On a scale of 1 to 10, this would be a 10. Easy. I could smell the fragrance a few minutes after lighting it… 20 minutes later, complete saturation and beyond. Other scents I had going in my house couldn’t even compete with this candle and I ended up putting everything else out to let this one reign supreme. It was pure bakery heaven… I stopped often just to appreciate the aroma and to breathe it in. Loved loved LOVED this candle!!!!
How did my Pumpkin Pecan Waffle candle burn?
This candle started out great. About the halfway point down the candle though, the wicks started to fizzle out… I was totally bummed. No matter what I did, the wicks wouldn’t stay lit. After awhile, I could only keep one wick lit at a time causing the candle to tunnel. I salvaged it by periodically alternating the wicks so it slowly burned up all the wax. I’m really hoping this was a fluke and it doesn’t happen again because I loved this scent enough to purchase many more.
Closing to my review:
I think it’s safe to say I highly recommend this candle. It had every element I love in a bakery 
scent… it was sweet, nutty, bready, and oh so warm and cozy. It filled my home with the most amazing aroma and boy was it strong… I was in pure heaven! I consider myself a bakery connoisseur and this fragrance exceeded all my expectations.
Pumpkin Pecan Waffles is a new addition to Bath & Body Works new fall lineup and these candles are flying off the shelves… this scent especially. I had a hard time getting the few I received so if you wanted to give this scent a try… you’ll have to watch for it and snarf one up as soon as it’s back in stock.
It’s worth it…I promise.

BEST. BAKERY. CANDLE. EVER.
This is by far my favorite candle I have ever purchased in life.. so much so that I’ve been looking for duplicate scents everywhere I shop since their not in season anymore and I failed to stock up.. I can’t wait for this scent to come back.. it’s pure heaven! I have been looking for wax cubes as well with a scent as good as this candle was but have failed to do so thus far..hopefully when the fall candles come out again they bring this scent back, because it is by far the best you can get!also I had no issues with my candles(wicks) burning until I got to the very end of the candle( the last inch maybe less) which at that point you shouldn’t be burning it anyway due to safety reasons, but it smelled so good I couldn’t resist.. I’m definitely a pumpkin pecan and waffle candle junkie! I recommend to everyone to try this scent!
I wanted to order more for the holidays but they must discontinue until the fall each year

It is seasonal so when you see it, purchase right away. That’s what I do. That is a big downfall of Bath & Body Works candles… a scent isn’t around for very long.
20 stars lol!! I would rate this candle a 20. I’m a bakery lover too and this one smells amazing!! This is my absolute favorite pumpkin scent from Bath and body works. That and Pumpkin Caramel Swirl. If you love bakery ,try both. you won’t be sorry.
as a fellow bakery scent lover — i’m 100% with you on your love for this candle. i just purchased it today from white barn and i was so pumped to see they still had one tiny table of fall scents left. i seriously think i may go back tomorrow and buy another one since there were only a couple left. our car smelled like this candle the whole ride home, and yes, just 20 minutes or so into burning it the scent filled our whole kitchen / living room / entry way (which is a BIG space to fill). and even after it wasn’t burning the scent lingered. AND my husband liked it, which combined with everything else just may make this my favorite candle ever. 😀 i just hope my wick experience is different than yours :/
