It’s that time of year for pumpkin scented candles, and Goose Creek has plenty. At the time we decided to do this review, we counted 14 – yes, FOURTEEN – Goose Creek pumpkin scents. Although in different formats, we tested them ALL and decided to report back to you.
Goose Creek Pumpkin Scents
Spiciest Pumpkin Scent
Looking for a little zip in your pumpkin? Consider Toasty Pumpkin Toddy (It’s everything Autumn has to offer. The spicy blend of harvest fresh fruits fermented in a toasty pumpkin toddy.) as it should fit the bill. This scent was warm and smooth and fairly strong.
Pumpkiniest Pumpkin Scent
We tested a LOT of pumpkin scents for this review, many with delectable pumpkin scent notes to savor. But if we had to choose one that was the most pumpkiniest pumpkin scent of them all, it would be Pumpkin Patch (A wonderfully traditional, spiced pumpkin apple. The perfect scent for a crisp Autumn day.) The smell was so pumpkin fresh and real, we even detected some green notes. Delicious with a pretty strong scent throw. This was one of our favorite Goose Creek pumpkin scents.
Sweetest Pumpkin Scent
The blend of moist cake topped with ooey, gooey buttercream frosting made Pumpkin Cupcake (A perfectly sweet pumpkin cupcake topped with vanilla bean & caramel swirl icing) the sweetest of the bunch. It was ooey and gooey but the pumpkin notes helped balance it out to keep it from being overly sweet. Perfection!
Fruitiest Pumpkin Scent
We found Blueberry Pumpkin (Spend a day at the farmers market. Delightful autumn 
aromas fill the air!) to be mostly about the blueberry and less about the pumpkin scent. It was a fantastic blueberry scented candle, but we did not detect much in the way of pumpkin notes. It gave off a moderate scent throw.
Least Pumpkin Scented Pumpkin Scent
Close behind Blueberry Pumpkin was Apple Pumpkin (The fall festival is on! Juicy red apples and beautiful ripe pumpkins are on display). We found the notes heavier on the apple than the pumpkin. While it was a delicious scent and in a keepsake jar, we thought this one had the least pumpkiny of the Goose Creek pumpkin scents.
Most Bakery Pumpkin Scent
Oooh, this one was hard. There were a number of great contenders, like Pumpkin Cupcake and Pumpkin Pie. But if we had to pick the one most bakery-like pumpkin scent, we’d have to vote for Vanilla Pumpkin Waffle (Order up! Breakfast is served. It’s the delicious aroma of morning breakfast filling your entire home.) The scent was all about freshly made, warm waffles drizzled with maple syrup and a dollop of creamy vanilla. Yum!
Lightest Pumpkin Scent
We were a bit disappointed with Pumpkin Cake Pop (Yum! Delight in a mouthwatering, fun-filled pumpkin cake pop!) as we could barely detect the scent going. Maybe we got a dud because this candle gets great reviews, but this one just didn’t cut the mustard for us throw-wise.
Strongest Pumpkin Scent
There were a number of contenders for this category, as we found several of these Goose Creek pumpkin scents pretty strong, but just edging out the competition has to be Pumpkin Hazelnut Spread (Enjoy a deliciously warm topping for your breakfast toast on this cool harvest morning). This smelled a lot like warmed Nutella. It was super delicious and super strong.
Breadiest Pumpkin Scent
If it’s pumpkin bread you’re after, head no further than Salted Pumpkin Pretzel (Yum! The fall festival starts with a warm, salty, pumpkin pretzel). This heavy fragrance blended creamy pumpkin and salty notes quite well, leaving us with warm salty goodness. The scent throw on this one was Ah-Mazing!
Our Favorite Pumpkin Scent
Most all of these Goose Creek pumpkin scents were great, but if we had to choose one it would have to be White Pumpkin (A heart made for pumpkin. It’s everything Autumn should be. Cozy harvest spices brought to life), hands down. This was a complex scent and had so much going on, but it was all good. Warm, somewhat spicy, creamy, and pumpkiny. We could burn this one all year long.

That’s our round up of the Goose Creek pumpkin scented candles. Most were great and a few were spectacular. Their pumpkin scents run the gamut, so if you’re into pumpkin, you’re sure to find one or two that are right up your alley.
