First impression of Vanilla Bean Buttercream:
Vanilla Bean Buttercream from Better Homes and Gardens is another limited addition scent so if you wanted to try it, don’t wait too long. Once it’s gone, it’s gone and let me tell you bakery lovers… you won’t want to miss out on this one. It smells positively YUMMY!!
I couldn’t find a scent description for this fragrance but one really isn’t needed. The wax smelled like the sweetest white cake with buttercream icing. It smelled super authentic and downright mouthwatering.
I loved it!
Melting:
I used the entire clamshell pack (3 cubes each) in two electric melters in my great room. Once melting, it took about ten minutes for the aroma to really start moving through my living space and once it did…. oh my goodness… YUM!!! My entire great room smelled like white cake and sweet vanilla icing. Very authentic and warm as can be. This is a scent you’ll want to eat with a tall glass of milk if you love sweet bakery cake type scents
and especially if you love vanilla bakery fragrances. I’m always searching for an authentic white cake with frosting fragrance and this one fits the bill to the T.
I’m going back for more… lots and lots more!!
Strength – I would rate these melts an 8 out of 10 in a really large room. 10 in medium to smaller rooms.
Bakery lovers… don’t wait! Go smell these melts. I bet you’ll walk away with a good half dozen if not more. LOVED!!

Christina, as always I appreciated your latest review on the Vanilla Bean Buttercream melt from Better Homes & Gardens. For two bucks it’s amazing how fantastic these puppy’s smell, and strong also which I love. I’m burning the Apple ? Cinnamon melt from Better Homes & Garden’s today, and wow this scent is also amazing!!! I will be picking up the vanilla Bean Buttercream tomorrow based on your recommendation. Again I’m so glad I found your site. I used to be an avid Yankee Candle guy until they were bought out. The new owners are more worried about proffits than anything else. They have reduced the scent and therefore scent throw to almost nothing. Needless to say I was completely and totally frustrated, and then I found your site. Since then my love for candles has returned full force. I owe you a lot of thanks for keeping this site going as it’s an invaluable tool.
