What did my candle smell like?
Here it is the end of summer and I’m just now getting this review posted. My bad! The thing is, it’s still so hot where I live, I tend to burn summery scents until cold weather kicks me out of my flip flops. The same goes for candles.
First impression…. this fragrance reminded me of sweet tart candy so I can see why Goose Creek named it Sum
mer Sherbet. It was a medley of different fruits all blended together with lots of sugar. I loved it – but then I’ve always been partial to candy scents.
Here is the scent description from Goose Creek’s website:
“It’s summer’s favorite scoop. Summer Sherbet is a rainbow of flavors. With orange, lemon, lime, peach and raspberry.”
Oh yes…. This scent smells just like the description… all the way. I mostly picked up on raspberry, lemon and lime and found the overall scent very tart and sweet. My mouth was watering just thinking about this aroma filling my home. Time to see how it burns….
I lit my candle in large bedroom and I’d say it took a good 20 minutes or so to really start noticing the scent and once the fragrance filled the entire room and beyond… I was in berry heaven!! My entire bedroom smelled like pink lemonade. The aroma reminded me of sweet and tart berries with lots of sugar blended in. Pink Lemonade all the way!
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 7. It gave a nice medium and steady throw. It was nice.
How did my candle burn?
My candle burned fine. No issues. Clean and even burn from beginning to end.
Closing to my review:
I really enjoyed this candle and would for sure purchase it again. It was cheery, fun and perfect for summer. My kids loved it too and both agreed…. one said candy, the other said lemonade so I guess it could be either depending on your perspective. All in all, a fun summer scent I would 
recommend for those who love sugary berry scents.
