It’s no secret we love candles around here, and we’re big fans of indie candle companies. We put that excitement into overdrive, though, when we stumble upon an amazing indie luxury candle brand. That’s just what we discovered when we were lucky enough to be introduced to Lazeé Home. This company takes the “candles are a luxury” notion to a whole other level, and we couldn’t be more ecstatic. That’s why we’re so incredibly excited to share our thoughts with you today in this Lazeé Home review!

A Closer Look at Lazeé

Three creative souls came together to make Lazeé a reality. As Dario Shqypi, Melissa Cordero, and Pascuala Nunez soon learned, creating the perfect candle wax with uniquely blended fragrances was a challenge like no other. As they had a specific vision in mind, they finally decided to pair up with a perfumer to help make sure their special scent blends stayed beautiful and true in their luxurious, clean-burning candles. This company is not a run-of-the mill candle company. They are very selective in the perfumes that make their way into their luxurious candle wax, with each candle being an experience in and of itself.

All these things happening to us seemed like roadblocks at that time, but looking back, it was exactly what we needed to create the product we wanted.

Products Offered

As of this writing, Lazeé offers two candle sizes: a 75g candle that burns for 18 to 20 hours and a 180g candle that burns for 45 to 50 hours. The candles come gift boxed ready for gifting (or stashing for yourself). They currently carry two unique scent blends, Blanche and Noir. We were able to test both fragrances.

Blanche Candle

These candles are housed in a white gift box in a simply classic style. The candle vessels are white with undyed wax, making for a sleek, clean look. My Blanche candle struck me before I even pulled it out of the box. Did someone say roses??? Ahhh…the lovely smell of fresh garden roses with hints of earthiness and some slightly sweet notes. The fragrance was amazing on cold sniff and I couldn’t wait to light it!

The scent description reads: Blanche, the classic “roses” candles made sexier. Our first ever perfume will make you feel in the Italian hills, in a garden full of flowers during an evening of early summer. TOP NOTES: Blackcurrant leaves, Verbena; HEART NOTES: Geranium, Blackcurrant, Rose; BOTTOM NOTES: White Musk, Moss.

I had the larger sized candle and lit it in a medium sized bedroom to see how it would fare. The fragrance of fresh floral blooms soon filled the space and lingered long after the candle was out. This was not a purely floral fragrance, though. It was so much more than that. The blend had a weightiness to it that made the fragrance linger. Simply amazing, and even though it was not a pure rose scent, this candle is sure to make our next updated list of the best rose candles.

Noir Candle

Noir was a sexier scent, with a mysterious and spicy vibe to it. It tickled my nose a bit on cold sniff and, once burning, made me want to snuggle up by the fire. A heavy, rich blend, this one worked in a larger open space, but I could see it being overpowering in a smaller space.

The scent description reads: Bold, spicy, and sweet, yet comforting, this unique fragrance was created to help you to slow down. Helps relief and diminish stress level from everyday events. TOP NOTES: Cardamom, Star Anise, Cinnamon; HEART NOTES: Black Tea, Rose, Clove Buds; BOTTOM NOTES: Tonka Beans, Woody Notes

Absolutely incredible! The richness and uniqueness of this fragrance made me want to keep burning it all day long. It had an excellent scent throw and a super slow, super clean burn.

Overall Impression of Lazeé

We’ve definitely found another candle love with the likes of Lazeé. Clean burning candles with unique fragrances that make you smile. These would make excellent gifts, but we also believe you should keep a few around your own home for a special treat. We certainly will be!
