Shining the Light on Candlebis

Candlebis has several candle styles and sizes through various collections. For example, they have an Artisan Collection with beautiful candle vessels that are made of hand-blown glass and 2 wicks. They also have a Modern Collection of smaller sized, one-wicked candles that are in amber glass jars.

The Azure Coast candle comes from the Black Label Collection and it was gorgeous! It was a large, 28 ounce candle with 3-wicks and a black, flat wooden lid. The label was matte black with silver foil-like lettering. The scent name was in a tranquil blue color. This candle was huge and heavy – very well made and felt very luxurious. This candle collection has 500mg of CBD infused per candle. 

The cold sniff on this candle was ah-mazing! It smelled very beachy, with prominent water/ozone notes, but there was a distinct sweetness to it that I assume was coming from the fruity notes. The candle had a super clean, even burn and took a bit to get a full wax melt pool. The scent was even more amazing once it was burning. It was bright and slightly sweet – I could smell the fresh apples on occasion and I also got whiffs of floral notes. This candle had a deep wax melt pool and burned a super long time. This candle scent strength was about 3.5 out of 5 with the throw being 4.5.

The Bourbon Vanilla candle was a from their Apothecary Collection. These candles have 80mg of CBD housed in amber jars with gold, screw-top lids. The company name and scent name were clearly displayed on the label. This candle was smaller in size (12 ounce) and had a single wick. 

This vanilla fragrance was heavy and thick – absolutely mouthwatering on cold sniff. Once burning, the complexity of the scent blossomed with rich, deep bourbon notes and hints of patchouli. The vanilla was very creamy and thick. We loved it! The scent intensity of this candle was about a 3 with the throw being a 4. 

The beautiful Cranberry Prosecco candle is a part of the Artisan Collection. As mentioned earlier, these candles are in hand-blown glass vessels, with Cranberry Prosecco’s vessel having a pinkish color. The wax itself was white and contained 2 wicks. These candles weigh in at 16 ounces and contain 300mg of CBD. 

Cranberry Prosecco was probably my favorite of the candles we tested, with the scent being very bright and bubbly. It was fruity sweet but not candy-like sweet. This candlealso had an even, clean burn and burned a super long time. I would rate the scent strength on this candle as 4 out of 5 with a 5 out of 5 scent throw. 

My Eucalyptus Rain candle came from the Botanical Collection with 80mg of CBD infused. It was a smaller, single wick candle that weighed in at 12 ounces of wax. These candles have a botanical vibe to the label and a gold, screw-top lid. These jars are white and have a nice, clean look. 

I loved this candle with its soothing eucalyptus notes. It was so pleasing and blending well with the marine, ozone-y notes that were included. This candle was very relaxing and soothing. It had a slow, even burn and also burned a long time. I would give the scent strength and throw a 4 out of 5.

I have absolutely fallen in love with Candlebis Candles, and I am so happy I had a chance to try them! I’m not sure about the benefits of CBD in a candle, but I will say I could not burn these candles while I was working at my office computer. I became way too relaxed and found it better to burn them during my off hours. These candles are incredibly well made and they do have a variety of candle styles (and CBD strengths) from which to choose. I am wholeheartedly recommending these candles to my family and friends. If you have any interest in CBD – or general curiousity – I think this is a great line to try.
