We are always on the hunt for great soy wax candles and melts, so when we came across Whispering Meadows Wax Craft, we knew we had to give them a try. We kick off the review of this company by diving into their Lemon Iced Box Cookies wax melt. We love lemon, we love cookies, and boy, do we love wax melts…we have high hopes for this one!

This Lemon Iced Box Cookies wax melt was in an oval scent shot cup with a well-fitting lid. The cup was full and the scent name was handwritten on the outside label. The wax was a pale yellow color, perfect for the scent. It had that somewhat mottled appearance that soy wax will give.
Even though this was a simple scent shot, it was nice and clean in presentation. The cup was filled with wax, so that was refreshing. And the lid stayed on without popping off…a huge bonus in our book!

On cold sniff, I smelled lemony goodness – mostly sweet with just a hint of tartness. I didn’t really smell any cookie notes.

Whispering Meadows Wax Craft
Once I started melting my Lemon Iced Box Cookies wax melt, I was able to start smelling the cookie notes – sort of like a buttery shortbread cookie. The predominant notes, though, were of the delicious lemon – light, airy and oh-so-good. It was sweet enough without being cloying and melt-in-your-mouth yummy!

I used my entire Lemon Iced Box Cookies wax melt in a large, 24W hotplate melter. It gave off the wonderful fragrance all throughout the open space I had it in. The scent was moderately strong but the throw carried on throughout the house. It was fabulous!

Melt Performance
I kept the Lemon Iced Box Cookies wax melt in our hotplate melter for the majority of the day. The following day, we fired it back up, only to be met with some more lemony goodness. It played out by mid-day on the 2nd day, but I think that’s pretty good!

Overall, we were very impressed with the Lemon Iced Box Cookies wax melt from Whispering Meadows. It was light, airy, and delicious. It made our mouths water and kept us craving for freshly baked cookies! We can’t wait to try more from this brand to see if the other scents can live up to this one.
