First impression of Leaves:

Leaves has been one of Bath & Body Works staple Fall scents for several years now and yet here I am reviewing it for the first time. I don’t know why it took me so long other than I just keep bypassing it for other scents that come along. Namely bakery. Now that I finally purchased one to review, I’m in love and kicking myself for waiting so long. Seriously… I am in LOVE this scent! Putting my nose up to the wax, it smelled like crisp fall air, sweet apples and cinnamon, and it was super cozy and inviting.

Here is the scent description for Leaves I pulled from the bottom of the candle:

Crisp red apple, golden nectar, warm clove and spice.

I wonder what the golden nectar is? Whatever it is, I like. And clove? I don’t smell a lick of clove in this scent. To me, it’s all red apples and cinnamon with maybe some vanilla in the mix. Whatever I’m smelling, I’m loving it!! Now let’s see how this candle performs!

I lit this candle in my master bedroom and came back 10 minutes later to the aroma of sweet apple spice and golden nectar. The aroma sort of reminded me of a smooth and toned-down apple cider, not super spicy but a perfect balance of warm apples and maybe vanilla cream (which has to be the nectar component) – whatever the “golden nectar” was – LOVED! Leaves was seriously one of the best apple scents I’ve ever smelled. Apple cider meets sweet and creamy sugar. I don’t know how else to describe it.

Strength – I would rate this candle a 10 out of 10 in any size room. This candle fragranced my huge bedroom, open bathroom and even spilled out into my great room. This candle (Leaves) basically scented the entire upper level of my home. LOVED!

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned perfect. No wick issues – YEAH!! Clean burning from beginning to end

Closing to my review:

I’m still kicking myself for waiting for long to try Leaves from Bath & Body Works. If you haven’t tried it yet… definitely head on over to their store and smell it. Apple lovers… this one’s a keeper and I’m definitely going back for more. Many, many more.
