Holiday NEST Luxury Scented Candle Review

First impression of Holiday from NEST:
Holiday from Nest put a warm smile on my face the moment I saw it and even more so after I smelled it. The candle itself was a tapered frosted whisky glass with gold foil stripes running all around the vessel. To the eye, it was festive and pretty, and a perfect candle to burn during the holidays. As with all luxury brands, I don’t know whether I liked the candle itself or the box it came in more. The box was gorgeous! The texture was a dark Christmas red velvet with gold geometrical stars embossed all throughout the surface. Presentation was so elegant and stunning, I had a hard time throwing the box away when I finished burning the candle. See picture above for visual reference. The picture shows it all but trust me when I say, seeing it in person is even more striking.
The scent itself… wonderful! First impression, I smelled pine the most with hints of sweetness I couldn’t pinpoint.

This is the quintessential holiday fragrance with a blend of mandarin orange, cinnamon pine and eucalyptus.
Ah! That’s what I smelled… mandarin orange. With my nose up to the wax, I could easily detect the fresh pine with hints of mandarin orange. What a unique combination. The eucalyptus and cinnamon components I couldn’t really detect but hoping they will come to life once the candle was burning.
Time to find out!
I decided to be daring and light this candle in my large master bedroom and I’m happy to report… it exceeded all my expectations. Within minutes of lighting the wick, the aroma was traveling all around the candle. After a good 30 minutes, the scent was everywhere – my entire bedroom, open bathroom and even started spilling outside my bedroom. Loved the strength! The aroma… fresh pine, sweet orange and yes, even crisp eucalyptus. All of it combined was pretty spectacular. Pine definitely dominated overall but blended with the mandarin and eucalyptus created a very soothing and fresh scent. I loved it!
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 9 in a large room. 10+ in a medium or smaller room. This candle is definitely a room filler.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned perfect. Clean and even burn from start to finish.
Closing to my review:
I really enjoyed Holiday from NEST. My favorite aspect… it wasn’t your average Christmas tree scent, it was much more complex. The eucalyptus really made the scent for me, it added a crispness to the overall aroma that I really enjoyed.
Definitely give this candle a try if you’re searching for something unique this holiday season. This candle will not disappoint.

Agree. This is my favorite Christmas candle, ever! No competition. The throw is terrific and, as you do, I always describe the scent to my friends as “complex.” If someone is looking for a subtle, gentle fragrance, this is not it. For fun and festive —the smell of the perfect combination of 3 or 4 varieties of evergreen trees plus a bit of baking and berries and fruit, and maybe some half-open gifts— this is the winner.
