You're right Cisley - I guess the grass always seems greener. I would love to visit your State as I hear it really is pretty. We took the Alaska cruise a few years ago and we flew over Washington but that is as close as we got.

The best time to come is after the 4th of July and the month of August. You can pretty much guarantee you will get decent weather ~ unless, of course, we are having a rainy summer which does happen ~ ha.
