  1. Christy, thank you re my morning with friends. I don't know what I did to deserve the many wonderful friends in my life, but I sure am blessed. And we had an exceptionally good time today. Thanks again. Gee, I hope your water gets turned on really soon. Fingers crossed! [smilie=yes]

Maggie, aww, that's a shame your Sweet Holiday Blend never arrived, because it smells so good. :( I went searching for the scent description. It's not WAHM's, but a fragrance oil supplier says it's a coffee scent with "...cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and ginger wrapped around a buttery almond accord with a sweet vanilla and maple dry down." I don't get the coffee at all, and it's light on the spices. To my nose it's mostly a sweet vanilla almond confection. Not a bakery, but a candy type scent. Does that help?

Michele, have a [smilie=th_fabulous1] Christmas party tomorrow!

I'm exhausted, the dog's exhausted. We're relaxing now and I'm enjoying that Sweet Holiday Blend. [smilie=th_thumbs20up]

    Enjoy you evening, everyone. [smilie=th_aa18]

  2. Mpfand, the delay must be a bit of a letdown, but like you say, if it's the worst that happens, things will be fine. Moves always seem to have a glitch or two. It'll be so worth the trouble to have new carpeting! [smilie=th_smiley_emoticons_hurr

That was a great book, Gail! I love it when I find one that I can't put down. I recently came across another, so that is where I am heading right now!

Spill the beans, Debra. Whatcha reading now? Whatever it is, I'm glad you're enjoying it!

The movie was really good! Probably best if you've already read the book, I think, but terrific either way!

Sheila and Trep, I'm with you on the snow. Hate it. Hate ice even more, since I slipped and fell on the danged stuff last New Years Day. [smilie=th_gif] Aria, I'm glad you got snow because you love it! Enjoy!

Laurie, your posts are always so darned cute! Congrats to your DD on her finals! [smilie=th_happy]

I'm off in a bit to go play with human and canine friends all morning. But for now I'm getting some nice melting in. WAHM's Sweet Holiday Blend. Wow, so good!!! [smilie=th_teks0311] to a thoughtful CF friend for the lovely gift! I love it!

  3. Settling in for the evening with Haley's Caramel Vanilla. It's the perfect combo of these two scents. No caramel overpowering poor l'il vanilla here. [smilie=th_cc15] Also burning a couple of her flower pot votives in Apple Cinnamon and Cinnamon Apple Berry. [smilie=th_Drglar] Gonna settle in for the evening and watch "The Help." If it's half as good as the book, it'll be terrific! [smilie=th_Hnh5]

    Have a lovely evening, all.

    Gail

  4. Debra, thanks for the good luck wishes! I'll need 'em for sure!

Trep, so glad to hear your dad's improving.

Christy, Washington DC has so many things to do! Glad you two had fun!

Hi Cat! I'm melting Candle Dippers too. Autumn's Bounty, which is Cinnamon, spice, vanilla, pine, and cedarwood. I've been a big fan of CD for awhile now but lately I'm loving them even more. Autumn's Bounty is wonderful and really strong! [smilie=th_slider_flirt]

  5. Hi everybody! [smilie=th_wave] Last night I had a candle festival: Two Haley's flower pot votives in Cinnamon Apple Berry and Apple Cinnamon, plus WoodWicks Pumpkin Butter and Slatkin's Autumn Apple. They were all nice but the standout was Autumn Apple. The real star of the show was, and continues to be, Candle Dippers Melt-Eze in Pumpkin Apple Butter.

I'd sure like to be around more, but between Christmas coming up and chairing my dog club's upcoming 20th anniversary celebration, I'm swamped. [smilie=th_a136]

Hope you're all doing terrific! :thwetkissf:

  6. Thanks, Sweet - good idea about telling the DH to keep an eye out for Candleberry! He's awfully busy back there (now in North Carolina for a few days) but I'll drop that hint! :D

Aria, glad the parade turned out nicely. Hope the karate test does too!

Michele, enjoy all the family festivities!

I'm melting Candle Dippers Autumn Wreath. It's 24 degrees here.

  7. Hi friends! [smilie=th_wave]

FWIW, I usually have to hit "Refresh" before I can see my new avatar. I don't know much about such things though, so you might just wanna ignore that. [smilie=th_LaLaLa]

Sweet, Frosted Apples sounds divine! It makes me think of my DH, who's all the way across the country enjoying some time in Kentucky right now.

I'm melting LSC Baked Apples. So authentic and good. [smilie=th_Drglar]

Have a really nice Saturday, buddies.

    Gail

  8. [smilie=th_Hello_]

Laurie, glad you're on the mend!

I'm melting a freebie from LSC, Fried Apples French Toast. I didn't think I'd like it because, well, "toast" was once baked in the oven, right? [smilie=th_cha60] I don't love it but I like it. (That sentence reminds me of Big Red, who used to say that a lot. Hope he's doing well.)

Have a good day, everyone. Those who are under the weather, feel better soon!

    Gail

  9. Debra, thank you! :) Yes, I did take the photo.

Mpfand, sounds like things are progressing nicely!

    Laurie, good luck tomorrow!

Candle Dippers' Country Cabin is finished so now I'm burning WoodWicks' Pumpkin Butter.

I'll be up for a couple more hours but to those of you hitting the sack, g'night all!

    Gail

  10. G'mornin' all,

Thanks for the get well wishes, Maggie and Christy. And Trep, thanks re my avatar. Those are Haley's candles. :)

For a change, I'm starting out the morning with a candle instead of a melt. Slatkin's Autumn Apple. It's burning perfectly, throwing like mad, and smells like heaven. [smilie=th_smilies-2]

Life is good. Hope all of yours are too!

    Gail
