Katz, I miss EW too.
I took a weekend break from melting because I had more family in town. Today I've been melting CYS Blue Like Jazz and LSC Blackberry Cedar Sage. Next will be fruity or light bakery.

Today it's SM Lemon Sugar Cookie in the living room and LSC Satin Sheets in the bedroom. More family visiting this weekend.

I'm melting CYS Love is Like a Red, Red Rose and TBG Santa's Spruce (finished the clam). I melt seasonally most of the time, so it is refreshing to do something different once in a while.

Hi all! DH and I had a great visit with DMIL earlier this week and now I'm back to melting. SH Pink Lime today!

Weekend went by in a whirlwind. DH and I packed in a bunch of activities. I melted CYS Find Your Wings yesterday and Can-Do Starbucks today.
DMIL will be visiting Tuesday through Friday, so I don't know how much melting I'll do this week. I have no idea if scents bother her or if she likes them. But I am very excited for her visit because she is a wonderful person who is a ton of fun to spend time with.

I've been burning a candle while DS Devin and I watched a dvd of Walking dead (we're on the last episode of Season 1), the candle is Beach Grass by Slatkin, which I got for Mother's Day.
Laurie, the first time I saw The Walking Dead, I was horrified (not much of a horror/zombie person). The second time I was HOOKED. No idea what caused the radical change, but now DH and I love the show, and we've read most of the graphic novels too.
Today I'm melting Funnel Cake from a friend (thanks!) and doing some household stuff...making food that is low-maintenance but takes hours to cook, plus doing a bunch of laundry.

Hi all. I'm melting CYS Every Blade of Grass and burning my big jar of YC Dune Grass. Making homemade strawberry sorbet with delicious strawberries from the farmer's market this morning. I should have melted a fruity scent, but I don't have many that are specifically strawberry. If only I had some CCCC Strawberry Patch!

I'm melting TBG Tinsel. Glad to finish up this clam that had 2 cubes left. This inspired me to check out the TBG Etsy shop and I felt tempted to try some of the scents! I have MORE than enough right now, but sometime it would be fun to place a non-winter/Christmas order.

I'm melting SH Lemon Pound Cake. This was in a clamshell and it smelled plasticky for a bit, but it generally does better in the melter. I just have two cubes left to go from that clam.

Roserent, I know what you mean about tinsel scents. I don't like them either. I just have one more from a previous order to use up, and then I'll know not to order more tinsel in the future.

I'd be curious to know how those do for you! I ordered a lot when it was the last chance for singles, and I still have most of them, haven't checked them lately but they all had VERY little or NO throw at all. Maybe they improved with age?? That would be awesome! How are yours?
Laurie, it sounds like we ordered around the same time, but I have had no problems with mine. A while ago I melted a couple that didn't last very long, but most of them are fine and the throws are good. Right up there with what I get from most other vendors. But I know you're not the only one to experience sub-par CYS melts. I feel lucky that mine have performed well.

Hi there...watching the last epi of Desperate Housewives...I sure am going to miss this show...anyone else a fan?
I've never seen Desperate Housewives, but I did enjoy the Survivor finale and will miss the show for a while until it's on again in the fall. Kinda crazy that it has been going for so many years/seasons.
I'm melting CYS Love is Like a Red, Red Rose. I have lots of these CYS ones from last spring because I ordered a bunch when it was our last chance to order singles. According to my order timeline, I need to be melting that batch plus some LSC and Can-Do these days.

TGIF! I'm melting Nene's Baklava. My previous scents had fizzled out quickly and were virtually scentless by this morning, so it was definitely time to do a switch. What a yummy one this is!

To all who were wondering about the violet cupcake, it was delicious. The effect was similar to any food you might have had (especially confections) with a floral flavor to it, like lavender ice cream or something like that. It just tasted like you might imagine a blueish-purpleish flower would taste, but the effect was very subtle. Like 90% cupcake, 10% violet or something like that. There were a couple candied violet petals on top that I crunched down, and those had a more intense flavor.
Anyway, the reason this flavor was offered is because this particular cupcake place does a rotating menu of weekly flavors and the assortment is always themed (for example, boozy flavors, seasonal flavors, candy bar flavors, etc). This week is floral/herbal so they also had rosemary lemon (trying that one later today!), peach basil, and chocolate lavender.
Today I'm melting CYS Party in Pink. It's nice but I only get a whiff of it once in a while.

Hi everybody. DH took a day off from work and we explored a nearby city today. We ended up with some cupcakes from a local bakery there, and a couple of them are violet flavored! So in honor of the violet cupcakes, I am melting CYS Violet Marshmallow Cream. Looking forward to trying them!

Hot day today...I'm melting Can-Do Lessie's Coco-Mint Frost. The coconut is supposed to be tropical, and hopefully the mint will help convince me that it's a little cooler! (I try not to abuse the A/C on hot days so it is warm inside.)
