Hey y'all..not so merry here. DS is sick with the stomach virus. Just let me say that he didn't make it to the toilet and the projectile puke did not do much for me to clean up. I am one of those people that it took everything I had to clean up after my kids when they were little. Today, my tummy is kinda so, so...hope I can fight it off. My friend went to a craft show over the weekend and brought me some wonderful smelling tart cups. The company is called Moonworks and my first melt this morning is Sassafras. It's just starting to melt and I am smelling it all ready. I will have to investigate more on this company. This is my store and errand day and I think we may get 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow. Hi there gals! I've missed a few days here...waahh!

 

Right now I am burning a heavenly Gingerbread candle from Swan Creek...mouthwatering good. Smells like gingerbread cookies with a little hint of coffee.

 

I bought a wallflower from BBW and plugged it in our mudroom...the scent is Winter Garland. Smells just like Christmas. It is scenting the room nicely and also wafting into the powder room and kitchen. I'd love to get a candle in this scent. I wonder if the candles are going on sale anytime soon?

 

Anyone order from the sale at Can-Do yesterday? I placed a small order for about 20 tarts or so.

 

I've got some decorating to do outside, so I am going to bundle up and head out. Should only take me about half an hour. Then I am off to the dollar store and post office. Oh the thrill!!!!

 

Hope everyone is enjoying some nice holiday scents and getting into the spirit of the season!!!! I've been listening to Christmas tunes while decorating and doing housework...it's great!

I have several of the BBW wallflowers Holiday scents. I need to get my Winter Garland one plugged in. Maybe I'll put that one in my son's room or the evergreen one. I did hit the sale at Can-Do and ordered all Holiday Scents and Pumpkin Cheesecake for a friend.

Sorry to hear this, Denim...I am melting CHC-Bamboo Cabin. this is a long time favorite of mine. It is snowing here. It's lovely and not covering much, so that's o.k. I am on the hunt for a tart burner that is Hand Made Pottery and decorated. I have been looking for one in the Colts logo, but I can settle for the hand thrown style too. The prim style would work too. Thanks for any suggestion an I welcome comments. Have a great day and I'll check in later for any "bites' on my tart melter search.

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and a safe, productive Black Friday. I did some shopping on line . I probably do 95% of my shopping on line these days. So far today I am melting Carol's Christmas Cabin. Bless her heart, i sure hope things go well with her trip. I'm still sorting through some of the attic excess. We are having furnace issues, the part is in and they will be out this afternoon to fix. (Tis always the season at my house ) Ha! Ha!. Have a great weekend everyone.

I haven't been able to check in ..been helping DH for the past 2 days cleaning out the WHOLE attic. I've been sorting through stuff, 2 truck loads to Goodwill and today he insulated the attic. I was his assistant manning the apparatus that I had to load the blocks of insulation into. I'm tired and still sorting through a few things. I am melting CCCC Vanilla Pine Cones this evening. and Carol's End Harvest. I'll try and check in tomorrow, I'm out of wack and tomorrow is store day.

I hate to be a pest, but for those who have tried Haley's candles, how do you like them? Good throw and scents? I guess I'm looking for a new vendor to try. I really like votives too. I need a few candles to give as gifts and some votives, so opinions graciously accepted.

Oh my, reading this morning's post sure has lifted my spirits. Aria:love the kitty box emoc.. my babies will go outside until it gets very cold or there is snow. I do agree this is a nice place to land when I am feeling blue or having issues. Thanks to all of my buds.. I'm not melting yet, running some errand in a few so wishing everyone a beautiful, peaceful day. I think this is our last Indian Summer day. It has been a beautiful week.

We had 15 trick-or-treaters so I consider this quite a few for our street. Also, my girlfriend and her hubby came by in costume. I gave her tarts and B & B....It will be a late one tonight with the Colts game. We are pretty beat up so I am keeping my fingers crossed and my blue sugar candle going. I am melting Midnight Embers-Carol and EE-Snake Bite. I plan to change out in a little while. It's a cold November day and I guess it's time for me to start thinking about doing some Christmas gift buying. I am really sizing back this year. Have a great day everyone.

Jules: It's great you can recycle the Yankee bags. I bet the boys design some great trick-or-treat bags. So far, my Halloween offerings are Carol's- Scarlet Moon, EE- possession and EE- votive snake bite. For those with little ones, have a safe and fun Halloween.
