Thanks, everyone--we just had some wind and heavy rain for awhile but nothing bad. I think another round is heading our way for later today with really heavy rain and more chances of severe stuff. yankee addict--I am a big Yankee fan myself. Thanks, biolaeagels--those two scents went together very nicely. For the rest of this day it is Yankee Home Sweet Home and Christmas Cookie. We are under a tornado watch and the wind is blowing like crazy although it isn't storming, so I thought I'd put on some comfort scents.

At the moment I am burning Yankee Buttercream and Mango Nectarine.

Starting this rainy morning with YC Green Grass.

This afternoon it is Yankee Buttercream and Pineapple Paradise.

Just lit my Yankee Pineapple Paradise candle--this is the best pineapple--I really like it.

For the rest of the day it is Yankee Campfire Treat.

I can't imagine it either, Sweet--his mom was only 19--we have a photo of her holding my husband as an infant as she receives an award for his bravery. His dad was a pilot and stayed with the plane so all of his men could parachute to safety. By the time he could bail out he was too low to the ground. He is buried in a military cemetery in France. I think knowing his dad was a true hero helps him but it has definitely affected his life to never have known his dad. Having never gone through anything like that, I can only imagine how hard it was for everyone.

A big THANK YOU to all who have served or who are serving in the military. Without you, we would not have the good lives we enjoy in this country today. My husband's father was killed in action in WWII four months before he was born so this day always means a lot to him.

Happy Memorial Day to everyone--in honor of the day I am burning Yankee God Bless America.

At the moment it is Yankee Mango Peach Salsa--it is trying to overcome the scent of the brownies that are just out of the oven.

First thing this morning it was BBW Market Peach and now it is Yankee Mango Nectarine and Paula Deen Fruit Punch. It is a sunny cool morning here--am loving it.

Just added Yankee Buttercream to go with my peach. I just love it when it is time to start a new candle.

Prayers to all affected by tornadoes and storms in Oklahoma and elsewhere. Guess I am in a "peachy" mood today as I started the day with BBW Market Peach and now it is Yankee Juicy Peach. Now if I just had a nice bowl of fresh ones to eat I'd be set.
