First impression of Cranberry Cookie Crumble: 

Better Homes and Gardens has some pretty delicious bakery scents but sometimes one comes along that seriously makes me moan in pure delight…. Cranberry Cookie Crumble was one of those scents. It was pure 100% YUM!!!! This scent is a limited addition meaning, grab them while you can because they’re only around for a short while.

Here is the scent description I found on Walmart’s website:

Folds flavorful accords of sweet cranberry, cinnamon sugar, caramel swirl and buttered pecan into a heart of sugar cookie and crumb cake leaving mouths watering.

Nice description with a lot going on. First impression for me… buttery sugar cookie with a touch of cranberry. I didn’t really smell cinnamon sugar, caramel or buttered pecans. To me, it was all sugar cookie and cranberry and honestly, it was perfect!!

Time to light my candle!

I stuck to a small bathroom to burn this candle in and boy was it perfect. Once the wick was lit, it took a good hour or more to reach a full melt pool and from then on out… a buttery sugar cookie with the perfect touch of cranberries wafted all throughout my powder room. The fragrance was light but still enjoyable.

Melting:

I used an entire clamshell pack (3 cubes each) in 2 electric melters in my great room. Once melting, it took minutes for the fragrance to waft through my home and oh my goodness…. HEAVEN!! I’m a huge fan of sugar cookie scents and I have to say… Cranberry Cookie Crumble ROCKED!!! Must. Get. MORE!! This fragrance smelled like butter and warm cookies with a touch of fruit. Very warm, very bakery and 100% edible! You will want to eat the wax with a tall glass of milk, it was that realistic. My favorite kind of bakery.

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the candle a 4 in a tiny room. Melts, an 8 in a large room. 10 in medium and smaller rooms. Loved the strength of the melts the best!

How did my candle burn? 

The candle burned great. It was slow burning, the wick stayed true and it burned clean and even from start to finish. A+

Closing to my review: 

Cranberry Cookie Crumble is a scent I highly recommend. I love it so much, every time I’m at Walmart, I buy all the melts I see. All of them so I now have a nice stock pile for when this scent retires for the year. Definitely purchased 1, 2 or a dozen if you see this scent at Walmart. If you’re a bakery lover like me, you won’t be sorry.

**Note – Don’t see this scent at your local Walmart… it’s a limited addition so it’s either out of stock or retired for the season. My store still has it so I’ve been lucky.  So if you’re searching, don’t give up. It’s worth the effort.
