What did my Caramel Apple candle smell like?
I love to burn apple scents during fall weather and caramel apple happens to be one of my favorites. When I saw Caramel Apple from Goose Creek, I couldn’t resist nabbing one to review.
Here is the scent description:
The crisp green apples are surrounded by a delicious creamy caramel and covered in buttery toasted pecans.
Mmm!!! Smelling the wax for the first time, I smelled apples and sugary caramel the most and yes, I could even detect the buttery notes from the pecans. YUM!!!! Just based off cold sniff, this is one of the best caramel apple scents I’ve smelled in quite a while so I was excited to see how this candle performed.
Time to find out!
I lit this candle in my master bedroom to start and ended up moving it soon after to a slightly smaller room. I wanted maximum scent throw and a medium sized room worked much better. After I moved it and a good hour later, I came back to the sweetest aroma of caramel apples. Tart green apples dominated overall, then came caramel and buttery pecans. It was different and not your average caramel apple scent. I liked that.
Strength – on a sale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 6 in a large room. 8 in a medium room and 10 in a small room.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned great. I just had to be very vigilant on trimming both wicks each day and not just once but several times while this candle was burning. If I didn’t, the flames would have totally gotten out of control. Another reminder how important it is to watch your candles as they burn. Other than that, clean and even burn with no wasted wax.
Closing to my review: 
I enjoyed this fragrance and would for sure purchase it again. This scent was all apple with hints of caramel. A great choice if you’re searching for a caramel apple scent that isn’t too sweet. I don’t however see this scent listed on Goose Creeks website right now but I’m sure it will be relisted.
